Although I knew a couple Kelela songs, this album was my first introduction to her music and I am SO impressed. This album is cohesive and magnificent. The production is amazing and the songs make me ascend.
Favorites: Frontline, Waitin, S.O.S, Onanon, Bluff
I think this album is really good at times, but sometimes a bit to experimental and there was too much going on.
Favorites: Sweatpants, 3005, Urn, Pink Toes
This album was super underwhelming. The beats and the production is nothing special (except a few tracks) and I was kinda bored throughout the whole album. Of course, Nicki delivers some GREAT bars and lyrics but it's not enough to impress me especially considering it's a 1 hour record.
Favorites: Needle, Everybody, Big Difference, Super Freaky Girl, Bahm Bahm
This EP was enjoyable but not a surprise. Jazmine's vocals are definitely amazing on this project but I found only a very few songs to stand-out.
Favorites: Bodies, Pick Up Your Feelings, Price Tags, The Other Side
I've loved Coco since Disney and I'm so glad to hear this album. This is such a solid debut and a great R&B project. As somebody else said, I must agree that it doesn't bring anything new to the table and it's reminiscent of other R&B singers.
Favorites: Crazy For Me, Caliber, ICU
Jaguar was already good. But Jaguar II is even better! Victoria Monét just can't miss. This is such an exceptional and consistent R&B record that keeps that good old R&B feeling from back in the day. Production is top-notch and Victoria's vocals are amazing.
Favorites: Alright, Cadillac (A Pimp's Anthem), On My Mama
Caroline's album is definitely a mix of everything. A very strong opening that had me hooked but it didn't really go anywhere afterwards. It got really repetitive and wasn't that thrilling anymore. I enjoyed the production and the artistry but I wish she kept balance.
Favorites: Welcome To My Island, Pretty In Possible, Bunny Is A Rider, Smoke
Olivia's sophomore album gives angsty teen vibes and some powerful sounds. Definitely great production on this album with pretty straight-forward lyricism. I did enjoy the album and some tracks were remarkable but some felt lackluster and I found the simplicity in them a bit annoying.
Favorrites: all-american bitch, vampire, ballad of a homeschooled girl, love is embarassing, pretty isn't pretty, teenage dream
I think this is a good album to listen in the background. I don't think it's bad, it just doesn't have a lot of memorable songs on it. Few songs are amazing and great to vibe to.
Favorites: FAMJAM4000, SIDEKICK, WHITE CROCS
It's been a while since we got some good christmas music that isn't just covers of older songs. And Sabrina delivers just that! (except white xmas)

A fresh summer breeze. Troye creates a light atmosphere with "Something To Give Each Other" that is really pleasing. Wish it was more captivating, at times it became too bland. Though overall it was a great listen.
