Amaria brings out a really smooth vibe with this album. It's really consistent and stays in the same neo-soul mood throughout. The songs make you sway from side to side and enjoy its chill energy.

I think Kendrick gives some pretty solid songs and ideas on here. Given that these are unfinished, the score is a bit lower because I would've loved to hear them in their full form. Kendrick's flow is amazing on here but the album seems a bit out of place at times.

CRASH didn't fulfill my expectations. Even though some of the club bangers are exteremelly catchy, some become repetitive and snoozy.
Favorites: Baby, Yuck, Good Ones, Used To Know Me
I found this record to be exteremly boring. I really didn't want to be different (because everybody seem to love this album) but I can't help but rate it low. The Smile tries to find a never heard of sound but the songs end up being an unlistenable experiment.
Favorite: Teleharmonic
This Is How You Smile is a relaxing, yet mesmerizing record. Helado's soothing vocals mixed with heavenly instruments create a delightful atmosphere. This is a cohesive project that keeps the same tempo throughout all of the songs and somehow still manages to be interesting.
Favorites: Please Won't Please, Pais Nublado, Running, November 7
After the smash hit that Little Things was, the bar for Falling Or Flying was set high. Unfortunately, the album wasn't anything special. The beggining was strong, but the rest felt unispired. Jorja's vocals are great and unique, as per usual, but other than that, the record fell flat.
Favorites: Try Me, Little Things, Lately
Despite the fresh and joyous vibes of The Age Of Pleasure, the record wasn't outstanding. I like the direction Janelle went with this album but it could've been WAY more.
Favorites: Champagne Shit, Phenomenal, Haute
Production on this EP is incredible. A really great and a catchy listen! It also has this fresh vibe and I'm looking forward to listening to it during summer.
Favs: Iced Tea, Lookin For Ya, Bittersweet Goodbyes
Although I like Reneé, "Snow Angel" gets exteremly monotonous. The constant ballad/punk vibe didn't keep me excited. Only a few stand-outs and most of the songs had a too long of a build-up to the better part.
Favorites: Pretty Girls, Tummy Hurts
The vibes are IMMACULATE! Silk Sonic gave us an album that is so close to perfection. Listening to it is so much fun, you transport into this magical world where only good vibes are allowed. Definitely going to have it on repeat.
Favorites: Leave The Door Open, After Last Night, Smokin Out The Window, Put On A Smile
(though every song is my favorite)
[Re-rank: 81 > 92 — This album undoubtedly became one of my favorites of all time. It's just something truly soul-touching about this record, and it makes me cry and hopeful each time I listen to it]
Cleo Sol can do no wrong. Her voice is so soothing and angelic that it's such a pleasure to listen to it. This album is also incredbile musically and some songs just heart-tugging. Cleo Sol for the soul!

RAYE is the one to watch out for. Her vocals are incredible on this record and every song is catchy. So glad to see her finally release this album as an independent artist.
Favorites: Oscar Winning Tears, Escapism, The Thrill Is Gone, Ice Cream Man, Flip A Switch, Five Star Hotels, Worth It
This album is exceptional. Every song is unique in its own ways and Kendrick did NOT dissapoint. All of the features on this project made it even more remarkable. Phenomenal and personal record.
Favorites: United In Grief, N95, Die Hard, Father Time, Purple Hearts, Count Me Out, Silent Hill, Mr. Morale
Yves Tumor brings out the alternative rock in the best form. Although I enjoyed this album musically, I thought there was something missing. The vocals weren't exciting and it sometimes made the song bland. The whole project was very creative and experimental and that's probably the aspect I appreciated the most.
Favorites: Heaven Surrounds Us Like A Hood, Echolalia
I wasn't expecting much from 21 Savage on this album and I thought it was okay and kinda boring. The second part of the album was significantly better. But overall, I wasn't much impressed.
(Also, I thought I'd explode if I heard "21" in "dangerous" one more time...)
Favorites: n.h.i.e., see the real, prove it, should've wore a bonnet
First of all, I wanna congratulate Kali on her baby! When it comes to the album, I liked it. I don't think it's her best work but it's really cohesive and I love the vibes. Maybe it will grow me.
Favorites: Diosa, Muñekita, Dame Beso // Muévete
Solange is one of my favorite artists and she never dissapoints. This record is so creative, cohesive and the production is on point. Her artistry never ceases to amaze me and she created a genre of her own that is so unique to her only.
