[Re-rank: 76>82] - This album has definitely become one of my favorites this year. I don't remember the last time I resonated with an artist as much as I did with Doechii. She is not afraid of being silly and she's just totally herself, and that's what I admire about her and her artistry.
Doechii ATE with this one! She is the one to watch in the rap genre. This record is pure rap/hip-hop that is consistent throughout and I'm loving it. Vibing with it HARD.

A decent pop album with a couple of hits, while the rest is just there. Just like the album name it was short and sweet. Definitely a great and enjoyable listen, might come back if I want something to play in the background.
Favorites: Taste, Good Graces, Bed Chem, Espresso
A few great tracks but the rest of them felt uninspired and the whole album just didn't wow me that much. Definitely will be coming back to these few songs though!
Favorites: KRYPTONITE, TORE UP, BANDIT, BACKSTREETS
I was really looking forward to this album, as "Beatopia" made me a fan of Bea but I think that this record kinda felt flat. There are some really strong songs that I will surely have on repeat but I was looking for more diversity and most of the songs sounded kinda the same. A solid project though.
Favorites: Take A Bite, California, Tie My Shoes, Ever Seen, Beaches
This is MY album of the summer! It brings out all of the good vibes and that summer breeze and energy. Apparently, I liked this album way more than y'all did, and that's fine! I've been tuning in to this album ever since it came out (ever since the single rollout).
Favorites: Houdini, Illusion, Happy For You
Okayyy!! This is a fun R&B album that will definitely grow on me later, but as for now, it's not better that BB/AGN3L in my opinion. There are some songs that I instantly liked a lot but the rest just kinda faded into the background, which was not the case with her previous album.
Favorites: Getting No Sleep, No Broke Boys, Nasty
Woah... lives were changed. I've been wanting to listen to this album for a while and I finally did, little did I know it would be life-changing. Truly an album that will turn into a classic everybody should listen to. I have actually got to listen to this album for the first time during a road trip in the dark which even added into experience. Impeccable artistry and majestic sounds that don't seem out of place.

From "Paprika" to "Posing For Cars" it's a incredible, cohesive musical journey. This album was my first introduction to Japanese Breakfast, back in 2021. And relistening it now in 2024 it's just as great. Lyricism on this record is on a whole another level in my opinion, it's simple yet very metaphorical. Incredible, triumphant album!
Favorites: Paprika, Be Sweet, Slide Tackle, Posing For Cars
Wow the production on this album is incredible. This is the mix of rap and jazz i'm living for. Truly a great album I'll be coming back!
Favorites: Samurai, Palaces, No. 1 Headband
Woooww... GOOD VIBES ONLY!! I don't know if there's a replay value on just songs alone, but enough of the critique because this album is incredible! It's so consitent and puts in such an amazing mood. Raveena's voice is soothing and angelic. Definitely will be coming back to this album as a whole 'cause there is no skip!
Favorites: Pluto, Rise, Baby Mama, Kid, Smiler For Me, Little Bird, Water
I appreciate the seamless transitions and the production but honestly nothing more than that. Ice Spice stays monotonous throughout the whole "album". And yeah, it's 23 minutes long which is crazy considering half the songs from it were singles. I wish Ice tried something new and went more crazy with her vocals and flow 'cause the production is eating.
Favorite: Did It First
Okay so... KAYTRANADA never misses! This album is top-notch production, as expected. And the features are amazing, like it's filled with my favorited R&B singers. I must say that the second part of the album is more enjoyable than the first, so it's more of an album that I would put in the background, mostly. But that doesn't take away the fact that it's amazing.
Favorites: Video, Do 2 Me, Lover/Friend, Snap My Finger
Adrianne's voice is so unique and her delivery touches my heart every single time. While listening to this album I tried to pay attention to the lyricism, as it was highly praised. And no wonder why it was, it's really special. 'Real House' made me cry and other songs also felt intimate. Although I wish there was more to the album than the songwriting (and I mean more interesting instrumentals and vocals), this album was a genuine expression of Adrianne.

Beyoncé somehow still manages to outdo herself in a way. I didn't like this record more than RENAISSANCE but that doesn't deny the fact that this album is impeccable. I would never think we would get a country album from Bey, and she delivered!
Favorites: AMERIICAN REQUIEM, 16 CARRIAGES, TEXAS HOLD 'EM, BODYGUARD, SPAGHETTII, YA YA, RIIVERDANCE, TYRANT
I've been meaning to listen to this album ever since I heard and fell in love with 'Compass'. And the vibes are clear throughout the whole album. It is a perfect record to listen during a road trip in autumn (as said by sushidigital). What I feel during this album is kinda nothing, but in a really special way. It makes me enjoy the moment and feel hopeful in a way.
Favorites: 8films, Compass, 体温 (Tenderness)

Okay, if it was my first listen, the score would've been way lower. But this album truly grew on me and it is a SOLID club record. It is really catchy and I'm just honestly vibing with it!
Favorites: Sympathy is a knife, Talk talk, Von dutch, So I, 365
I sense an Erykah Badu vibe from Ari and I'm all here for it! This album is pure vibes, neo-soul fantasy and a melodic ecstasy. The amount of instruments and details in production is absolutely mesmerizing. Definitely an album I need to have in my vinyl collection as well, because it's cohesive throughout the entire album and as a whole it's incredible. The rating might get higher once I listen to it more but this is my first listen review.

I gotta say that I enjoyed this album, even though it was quite experimental at times. It's a soulful, groovy project with some eerie, psychedelic sounds that transfer you into a whole another world. I will be coming back to only a few songs but as a whole it's a very solid record.
Favorites: Atavista, To Be Hunted, Final Church
This is a really solid project! It has some amazing songs I will be coming back to but I just can't find anything that much unique about SiR himself 'cause I think it wouldn't make any difference for me if someone else would've sang these songs... Besides that, I really enjoyed this album!

Wow, I never really was that big of a Billie fan, even though I have listened to her music ever since "Ocean Eyes" came out, but this damn album is exceptional! I think this has to be her best yet and I really like the direction she went with this album. I was looking forward to it since she dropped the announcement and I'm not disappointed. Every song is just made with such passion and the lyrics, vocals are mesmerizing. Billie has proved herself to be the one to watch in the music ... read more
