Tyler GOAT!!! His music is so creative and unique, and this album proves just that. Some of the songs are super hype and others are extra vibey, so you know im fkin with this album.
Favorites: CORSO, WUSYANAME, RUNITUP, SWEET / I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE
Well, that was boring as hell. I honestly didn't expect much but I was disappointed that it was THIS one-note. The lyrics are freaky, production isn't outstanding and PARTYNEXTDOOR's vocals aren't too good either. I think it would be good to listen in the background but I don't think I'll be coming back to this album.
Oh, and the interludes were actually very vibes (probably my favorite parts of the album lol)
Favorites: Cheers, Make It To The Morning, For Certain
Okay, so my problem with this album is that it lacks any flavor. The lyrics are unserious at times, the production isn't spectacular whatsoever and Bryson's vocals aren't at their best. There wasn't just anything that would make me excited besides some beats that only pumped me for the first few seconds.
Favorites: Attention, Ciao, Calypso
What an album! The atmosphere on this record is one of a kind and St. Vincent been delivering. As much as it's not kind of music I would listen on a daily basis, It's exceptionally unique and exquisite.
Favorite: Broken Man, Violent Times, All Born Screaming
I think this album is extremely cohesive. However, in all this cohesion, most of the songs sounded the same to me. Although, I really enjoyed a few songs. Nia's voice reminds me a bit of Amy Winehouse, just a note. Also, not a fan of this cover...
Favorites: Silence Is Loud, Unfinished Business, So Tell Me...
Let's go polish rap represent!!! Otsochodzi has to be my favorite rapper from my country 'cause his flow never disappoints. The lyrics are also great and catchy. While the production is just incredible. Taco Hemingway as a feature was just a cherry on top (my other favorite polish rapper).
Favorites: RAP, BLOK!, "Tak to leciało!", New York Freestyle
Beyoncé can do no wrong. Every song on this album is unique. And knowing what Bey has been going through, you can hear her emotions and thought very clearly. Her craftsmanship never fails to amaze me. On most of the songs, the vocals and lyricsm are the strongest I've ever heard. Also, she always takes the craziest instrumentals and turns it into a total banger.
Favorites: Pray You Catch Me, Love Drought, Freedom, All Night, Formation
Now, this is how you create a masterpiece. It's the details that make this album unique, such as seamless transition, storyline and one of a kind sound. Tyler proves to be the one to watch. The production is incredible, so is the lyricism. Truly an all-time classic.
I think that this album is quite enjoyable but I just cannot stand that Conan is lowering his vocals so much. They seem forced and they only songs on which he sings in his normal voice register are 'Killing Me' and 'Winner'. I must say that this 80s sound is executed very well on this record but sometimes it also felt forced. It just doesn't feel natural. The production is great though.
Also I don't enjoy this album cover (I could say a lot about it). Literally every single cover is better ... read more
Honestly, I didn't expect this album to be this good. I wasn't too much familliar with ScHoolboy Q's but he eats on every track. His flow and the production is really good and the whole record is bussin'. Doesn't need to be 1 hour long though.
Favorites: THank god 4 me, Blueslides, oHio, Pig feet
I always enjoyed Matt's input in BROCKHAMPTON's music so I was excited to hear this album. And I am pleasantly surprised that it's better than I expected! I don't know how to explain it but this album has a very 'spring' vibe, so I'll definitely listen to it in this period. Even though most of the songs are 'just there' and didn't make me much excited, there are a few songs that really stood out.
Favorites: Aphid, Steel, Aren't You Excited, Slug, Slow Motion
This album is average, in my opinion. It didn't excite me (only a few tracks did) and I was a bit bored. I think that this album is carried by Metro's incredible production because Future sounds almost the same on every song. I'm glad Kendrick hopped on one of the tracks because it's one of the best moments on the album.
Favorites: Young Metro, Ice Attack, Like That, Everyday Hustle
This record is R&B excellence. I cannot say enough how much I vibe with it. It's been on repeat ever since I heard it for the first time. Every song on this record is a gem, and Kehlani just always comes with the vibes.
Favorites: Wish I Never, Up At Night, Get Me Started, More Than I Should, Altar, Melt
KAYTRAMINÉ is a duo I never knew I needed. Their energy is a great match and the vibe on this album is immaculate. Most of the songs are really incredible and catchy, though some of them fall flat.
Favorites: letstalkaboutit, 4EVA, Rebuke, Sossaup, Eye
'TYLA' is an exteremely strong debut and I just know I will have this record on repeat. It just has this fresh breath of air and I can't wait to play it during summer. The production on this album is majestic and Tyla perfectly matches her ravishing vocals. This album is super consistent and keeps the same amazing sound throughout.
Favorites: Safer, Water, Truth Or Dare, No.1
I'm not a fan of this album. Even though Flo Milli is good on some of the songs I think that production carries a lot. It just lacks flavor on most of the tracks and I was just bored. But there are obviously few highlights.
Favorites: New Me, Not Sorry, Never Lose Me + Remix
This album is decent. I really enjoy the production on most of the tracks but it feels over the top for J-Lo's vocals. Most of the album was quite boring though... Nothing special stood out for me and it was just average and one-dimensional.
Favorites: Can't Get Enough, not.going.anywhere., Greatest Love Story Never Told
I've been a fan of 'Apricot Princess' for a long time but I've never really appreciated the album as a whole. And it's amazing. The soulful indie, bedroom pop is just everything I need to set the mood right and feel good. Every song is really strong when it comes to composition, lyricism and vocals.
Favorites: Apricot Princess, Televinsion / So Far So Good, Sycamore Girl, Happiness
'DAMN.' is a great album but I think I had way too high expectations. There are a few tracks that are the definite stand-outs and some just lacked in flavor for me. Just needed that something extra that would excite me. But Kendrick's flow is undeniably incredbile and his rap skills are on another level.
Favorites: DNA, LOYALTY, PRIDE, HUMBLE
'I Know I'm Funny haha' shows what Faye does best. It's quintessentially her and the vibes are immaculate. This album healed me in a way and it calms me down. Truly brings a different point of view and is really consistent in its dreamy sound.
Favorites: Sometimes, In A Good Way, Cheers, Overslept, Half Of Me
