we should have a salem witch trial moment with people who capitalize his vinyls after his passing.
Generous score but, I'm just glad it wasn't the worse thing I've ever heard. Fuel is cool, has some genuine funny lines like Ye and his meds. some of the features are cool. The album is so bad and corny, I'll probably never return. So many lines talking about trans people and Megan thee Stallion.
I hate the users who just rates the same as their favorite creators, the score went down that much over Brad? There were a few songs I really enjoyed, and even that is shocking to me since I'm not huge on the duo. Not Trench, but It's solid.
LP is in my spirit so heavy I feel like vomiting. Sign of AOTY?!
Herbie expands far beyond this album later in his career. still good, but nothing mind blowing.
I love RiTchie's sound that he creates and his lyricism especially in the past years, have stuck with me extremely closely. This album is no different. Huge bias towards his music and his way of expressing his emotions of floating through life and it's depressive nature.
This shit is so insane, clearly a country album and spotify has put a bunch of songs only in RnB.
I have my issues with their first two albums, but this shit is a masterpiece. Need time for it to maybe be a 100, but I loved every second and I got everything I could've asked for.
The Clash has a sound I really enjoy, but the blatant racism in many of the songs is wild. At times they shame people that are in worse situiations, share their misunderstood white beliefs, and even though they share opinions of hating authority they also support it at times when it's about people lower than them. "Safe European Home" is a song that shares a misunderstanding of the situation in Africa then talks about how his Country is safer for him. "Tommy Gun" if you ... read more
This album is incredible amd I needed it in my life at this moment. The way Lenker expresses their emotion on every song melts me.
Even though I respect the much more layered writing and production within the album there are only a few songs I'll come back to.
I was enjoying it a lot at first with songs like Mafia Music, Magnificent, and Usual Suspects, but after that it takes a dip in consistency. I loved the production and Ross' delivery is impressive throughout. The choruses and lyrics are rough as hell though. Ending two songs was a great end off.
"I love ladies" and "sex" are rough songs to sit through. Everything else however, goes above and beyond with the time period and still holds an overall great sound. The first 3 tracks and Squeeze the Trigger are classics.
Something about his voice and production makes me like his music so much, but damnittttt Kodak, Fuck Bill. It's so difficult to listen to him.
I'm pissed this sound works for me so well. I love the singing, the melancholic vibe, instrumentation is perfect. I'm taking the Morrissey pill fast. It's rough, but I feel like it's a necessary listen for the genre. There were annoying ass lyrics spread out, but that last song you couldn't escape the ass.
