I just wanted to let you know that this isn't for me. Before this, my only experience with them was their song money machine, which I found enjoyable. I wanted to give this an unbiased rating to preserve my integrity as a man who takes listening to music too seriously. Still, I can't find anything good about this. This is their general music style, though, and I don't want to dive in to find out if their discography has greener pastures.
This was just a fun listen overall. So bright and so vibrant. Every track keeps the fun well, making the transitions almost seamless. You can tell that he made this to have fun. The blend of jazz and samba works surprisingly well, only disrupted by the random star wars song. Which is probably why it isn't rated any higher. I do have to say that the opening ballad is probably one of the greatest things i've ever heard. It's like the cat videos equivalent of music. This album was very enjoyable ... read more
This Tyler album was my first dive into his discography, so I can say that I had no idea what I was getting into. Many people recommended this album to me, but I just now had the time to listen to it. The attention that Tyler pays to his production is second to none; the project's experimental nature seems daunting at first because he doesn't take your hand and leads you into the album, but it works in his favor. The story he tells is well thought out and relatable as well.
Well, all I can say is that it's consistent. But other than that, it's the same thing you hear on every song she did before this: "I'm pretty, My Puthy Fat, Men Wanna Fuck Me," blah blah blah. The production is also very boring, and the beats are ok. the PUTHY song was good

I am stunned. Beyond sad. I had no idea what I was getting into with this project, and this was one of the albums that I saw at the top of the list of best albums by user score. Out of curiosity, I checked it out, and I am crying while writing this review. This is the first album I've reviewed that produced such an emotional reaction from me. Every song was a ballad full of pain and emotion. The vocals, the production, and even the track listing and pacing are amazing. It encapsulates emotion ... read more
This album is a great listen, it's one of my first albums about romance and heartbreak, so there might be implicit bias, but I do enjoy the theme and the ballads used for this album. It's about love, of course, and it touches on the different places people are when they fall or are in love, in some cases locations, and in others, emotional states. She has one of the most soothing voices I've heard come out of the TikTok/shorts era. By no means is this album perfect, but it's really enjoyable. ... read more
This album is Beyonce's return project, and it's far better than I expected. With her grammy nominee in the books, I wanted to revisit this album to make a better judgment about who I thought was going to win. On the second listen, the album made a huge jump for me, going from an 87 to a 95. With my first listen, I didn't get the theme, but it turns out it was because this album was not for me. It was for the gays and the gals. An underrated part of the track is its blend of house and ballroom ... read more
This album is confusing. It seems that Kanye has become more focused on being a visionary rather than making good music. He has always been trying to push the genre of Hip-Hop forward, but this time it doesn't seem like it had any direction. As a Kanye fan, I wanted to be biased and say that this album was decent, but with the schematics that were used to sell the album, I cannot, in good faith, cut corners. This album is worth the back vinyl section of TJ Maxx, and the fact that he was going ... read more
Something about this jazz makes me want to bust a move. Domi and JD are both prodigies in their own right, but when you put them together, you get something fun. This album is excellent, but I do have some qualms with the album in terms of the format. The only reason this is not rated higher is that the middle of the track is a bit weak. Starting from TWO SHRiMPS to DUKE, excluding U DON'T HAVE TO ROB ME, the pair begins to lose footing. It has a good beginning and a better ending part of the ... read more
In light of her return, I wanted to revisit her debut album, and I'm happy to admit that I am impressed. I was afraid that I would suffer from the snippet effect with her music, but it is a well-structured album. As short as people say it is, it believed that it's for the better. Her sound is meant to be taken in incrimates before it becomes repetitive and I think she knows that. She did a great job sprinkling her viral songs with her non viral songs for her audience to be comfortable in ... read more
Listen, in no way is this a good album if you look at it objectively. From the eyes of an actual music reviewer, this would not be received well, but that's not the point. This rage-y synth rap has come back into style because of him, and I do give him credit for that. As for the album, it would be rated higher if he only kept the songs that went viral; as bad as this may sound, his sound isn't made for albums that long. To enjoy YEAT you have to turn your brain off, and no one wants to do that ... read more
a great album, and for one of my first albums that I've reviewed on my journey it's definitely shorter than I'd like. It's one of the only albums that I can say that understays it's welcome thus far. It starts off strong with shibuya and keeps it going, it has a sort of anime ending ring to it. A tracklist where you can turn on to be transported to a different world or to think about your emotions. All in all a great album, and one that I found by accident
This album has one of the strongest openings I've ever heard with the BLUE track, and the production is a highlight, but other than that, the track has nothing to offer that isn't better than decent. He isn't the best rapper, and that is fine, but he portrays himself as one, so it makes it more apparent. His vision was to make an interconnected universe, but it required multiple listen-throughs to understand. With that fact, it's not bad, but it's definitely not good

JID has outdone himself with another entry continuing the pace he set with his previous album. He's gotten even better somehow and seems to be on an upward climb from here. He's seriously talented and one of the best lyricists I've heard recently, and in this track, he doesn't try to hide it. The flows he experiments with are out of this world, and his story-telling from Dicaprio 2 has also improved. Great Album
