Playboi Carti - Playboi Carti
83

Although I personally think this is worse than both Whole Lotta Red and Die Lit, this is still an amazing mixtape with some very good songs, most notably the first 6 song. Every song has something different going for it and it’s a really good example of what Playboi Carti would go on to do with Die Lit and some of Whole Lotta Red.

Travis Scott - ASTROWORLD
98

The production on this album is absolutely amazing. Every single song is equally as amazing as the next. Not a single miss on this album, only thing bringing down my score is NC-17 and 5% TINT, other than that this is a perfect album. Definitely a must hear album.

This is a good album IF you ignore the antisemetism throughout the album. I try to seperate the art form the artist but when Kanye is constantly being antisemetic its very hard to ignore. This album is like a rollercoaster of music, one moment you'll be listening to a high caliber of production and then the next you'll be hearing phonk? Very confusing album, not to mention the time it took for this album to drop, you would expect the album to be at least decent, but this was ... read more

Playboi Carti - Die Lit
89

Although a bit basic, this is a overall well rounded album that has good highs and very few lows. Fun listen. Better than Whole Lotta Red? No. Amazing album nonetheless? Yes. Must listen to album if you are trying to enter this style of music.

Eminem - The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)

This album is horrid. The name is fitting cause this guy really needs to die after dropping this hot ass album. The best part of this album is the JID verse, and even that isn't that good. He should've listened to the haters and retired. Speaking off the haters, why is he dissing deaf and blind people??? Deaf people can't even listen to his music?? This guy is delusional. The whole album is him trying to cancel himself to stick it to Gen Z, even though none of the Gen Z hate ever ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
82

I loved the story telling in this album, but I feel that some songs are lackluster and are only there for the sake of story telling. Still a great album, but definitely not Kendrick's best work.

Tame Impala - Currents
91

Not my type of genre at all, but this album is amazing. I do think some of the songs are quite long for no reason, this doesn't take anything away from the album. In my opinion a must listen to album.

Don Toliver - HARDSTONE PSYCHO
67

I usually like Don Toliver's songs, but he really misses with a lot of the songs on this album. Most of his best performances on this album are with features and his solo performances are lack-luster. A issue on this album is that all the solo songs sound the same, Don Toliver can only rap in one voice which makes the album very boring to listen to. The songs individually are fine at best but all together they don't really make a great album.

Sexyy Red - In Sexyy We Trust
6

sexyy red can only shake ass and its not like she even got a lot of it

only notable thing about this album is drake singing over bbl drizzy but even that was ass cheeks cause its a sexyy red song and her voice is shit

Ken Carson - A Great Chaos (Deluxe)
84

I expected more chaos, but it was only 5 tracks. This a review of the album as a whole though. Good album for the most part, some skips, and the beats are kind of repetitive. Lyrics could also make a little bit more sense but other than that its a good album.

Kanye West - Late Registration
95

Kanye West, now with the experience of one album under his belt, amplifies everything he’s learnt so far. The lyrics, the rapping, the production, the features, the storytelling, everything that makes The College Dropout so good is made even better on this album. This is indubitably the best album of the trilogy. A work of art.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

Jazz. Rap. Two things that would usually never mesh. The goat Kendrick Lamar thinks otherwise. The moment the album starts, you may be confused by the repetitiveness of the phrase being said. Suddenly, “hit me” is said. You are then thrown into a psychedelic maze, every movement of the sound wave triggers a reaction in your brain. Kendrick begins to rap. You are thrown into a state of psychological heaven. A brain orgasm. Kendrick Lamar raps in a way so smooth yet rough at the same ... read more

Travis Scott - Rodeo
100

Rodeo… oh Rodeo… Where do I begin? Rodeo, although sounding like most modern rap/trap, was made in 2015! Almost 10 years ago! Travis Scott made a truly timeless album, with tracks like 90210 and Apple Pie being the pinnacle of rap music. 3500 is arguably the greatest trap song of all time. Even the worst songs on the album are amazing. Songs like Piss On Your Grave are amazing and try something “Yeezus-like”, which makes sense seeing as Kanye is featured on the song. ... read more

Playboi Carti - Whole Lotta Red
92

This album is truly one of a kind and although some have tried to replicate this, no one can compare. Everything about this album is amazing, although there are some skips. Near perfect album.
