What can I say apart from this is a classic. Grunge is my favorite genre of music and this is regarded as possibly the best album of the whole era.
This album is so fucking good and is packed to the brim with absolute bangers and some of the best grunge tracks ever. I think that the lack of technical and musical ability from Kirt Cobain is actually what makes this album so good. I don't think it is a hot take to say that he was an awful guitarist but was a one of a kind songwriter. He ... read more
Pretty solid metalcore album. Nothing too spectacular but it has absolutely entered my metal album rotation.
The production on here is very good and all of the songs feel very epic and powerful. The vocal performance on here is fucking amazing as well. Emma Boster is an absolute beast of a vocalist
Fav songs are Innate Thirst, Enemies In Red and Drowning in the Silent Black. That Brian Garris feature on enemies in red makes me very happy as a Knocked Loose glazer.
This is just fucking beautiful man wow. Call me crazy but Ants From Up There wishes it was as good as this. This is a serious contender for my album of the year.
I don't really have too much to say about this album other than it is another album that feels like a warm hug and makes you feel like everything will be ok.
Fav songs are Emily, You pt.2, Racing Mount Pleasant and Call it Easy.
This EP stole my fucking soul.
When I heard YWGBYST I thought it was possibly the heaviest thing I had ever heard and am ever likely to hear but I think that this may have just taken that spot. I can't put into word how utterly savage this EP is. This is the musical equivalent of being punched really fucking hard in the stomach.
Having heard this I think I can now say that Knocked Loose are far and away my favorite modern metal band. Everything they do is just pure metal perfection.

I am going to say this as a metalhead but this performance was actually so good. She really gave it her all and I think this was the best performance of the entire festival. The only one that came close to this was The Prodigy so that basically says it all.
Bro this shit is so ass but that's kinda what makes it so good. I really have no idea why I like this band as much as I do. I feel like if I wasn't a musician I would hate this shit so much.
I think that this is slightly weaker than Doppelganger in pretty much every aspect but I still like this album a lot. I think that there are lots of riffs that are sprinkled throughout this album that are better than anything on Doppelganger which shows that Thomas was evolving as a songwriter. ... read more
This has no business being as good as it is. His voice is actually so perfect for this wtf??
I went into this expecting it to be amazing and was a tiny bit disappointed. It has got bangers but for the most part it is quite boring.
The production is rather impressive and overall I do really love the sound of this album it is just a shame that lots of the songs are not that engaging.
What I will say though is Grounds for Divorce and One Day Like This are both fucking masterful songs and by far the best ones on here. I've always loved really long outros and the One Day Like This ... read more
My favorite Opeth album that I have heard so far.
I've been a metalhead my whole life but Opeth were a band I only started listening to recently. I can now see why they are regarded as gods of prog metal because holy fuck this album is fucking spectacular. One thing that I really like about them is the fact that the music is very proggy and complex but none of it seems forced whatsoever. Every time signature change feels like it belongs there and the length of the songs feel ... read more
Simply beautiful
This helps to prove why Pearl Jam are my favorite grunge band because this is just fucking spectacular and I honestly think this is better than the Nirvana MTV performance.
This album get lots of unjustified hate. I personally think that this album is fucking amazing and on some days I actually prefer this to Dookie. If you are looking for 40 minutes of straight up simple pop punk bangers then Dookie is 100% the better album but if you are looking for a cohesive and immersive album experience then this is the better of the two. I also really love how they decided to put some very long songs on here and neither of them fell over 9 minutes long which to me is a sign ... read more
I'm gonna start this by saying that I am a Nickelback enjoyer and have been for a long time. They are also one of the best bands I have ever seen live.
I think that half of the songs on here are good and half of them are hot ass. The lyrics are really corny but the riffs and production are pretty good for the most part. S.E.X is a fucking awful song though what the actual fuck was Chad thinking when he wrote that. he did not cook. The songwriting is a massive step down from the likes of ... read more
Probably the weakest of the singles that they have released so far but they are still great songs and as a Mag Bay glazer I am so fucking hyped whenever they release anything new.
Bro why wasn't this on the original album this is such a banger. This could have easily replaced Psychopath or Every Tear Disappears and that would have probably made the album a 10/10.
I'm gonna need to listen to this again but I can say for certain that I fucking love this album and may be my favorite Deftones album I have heard so far. I love pretty much all the songs on here and the production is amazing. I'm not much of a fan of the cover art though. As I said I need to listen to this again but this is my opinion on it currently.
Fav songs are Infinate Source and Milk Of The Madonna.
THEY CAN'T KEEP DOING THIS THEY LEGIT DROPPED 4 10/10 SINGLES WITHOUT SAYING A WORD.
These guys are like once in a generation levels of musical skill and in the millions of years that life has existed we are lucky enough to live in the same time as Mag Bay.
This record is alright but I don't think it is anything spectacular. I think my main issue with this record is that it takes itself way too seriously without that seriousness being justified. Some of the vocal FX on here don't really sound that good either.
I have a lot of respect for this album instrumentally because holy shit they are still at the top of their game when it comes to technicality which is something that they have always been known for. The lead guitar work in here is ... read more
I probably didn't do this album any favors by listening to it after Imaginal Disk because lets face I was always going to be slightly underwhelmed after listening to Imaginal first.
This is not a bad album by any means but I do think that some of the songs are a little repetitive. There are still some absolute bangers on here though like Hysterical Us and The beginning.
This record is a great place to go after the Mini Mixes and you can tell that they felt like they had finally found and ... read more
This is a grunge record that I don't think is anything spectacular but it's pretty good. Some of the songs are a little too long and there are some points where the snare drum is so fucking loud for no reason. Other than that it is a pretty solid record that is packed full of really nice vocal melodies but this wouldn't be and album that I would instantly go to want to listen to a grunge record.
Fav songs are Interstate Love Song, Still Remains, Silvergun Superman and Big Empty
They casually released song of the year on a random Friday. These two are truly in a league of their own and are one of the best pop acts I have ever heard.
If they drop another album my life will be complete.
