Fell over this album by complete coincidence on spotify, album cover looked intriguing. But just by looking at the cover and the title "big country" i was thinking it was going to be some hard hitting, gritty, outback style maybe in the same lane as Big X.
Safe to say i was a bit dissappointed upon my first listen.

The project started off really strong, the 3 best songs on the here are all within the first 6 songs of the project, too bad theres still 11 remaining afterwards. Theres only one singular track on this EP i could maybe ever envision myself wanting to replay and that's the closing track "Du Ka Kalde Mig Hvad Du Vil". But if i ever felt like hearing anything Artigeardit has put out i will just go back to VILDEDAGE instead. Low effort repetitive verses, boring predictable beat selection and shitty features come together to create a full 14 minutes of straight nothingness.
Favorites:
- Du Ka Kalde Mig Hva Du Vil
One of my biggest surprises of the year. i don't think Jill Scott has made anything worthwhile since the early 2000's. So this was unexpected return to form, that can actually rival some of her best works. I love Neo-soul when it's done right.
Favourites:
- Norf Side
- To B Honest
- Beautiful People

However subsequent listens changed my mind and it ended up really growing on me. It really made me appreciate the lyricism, delivery and sleek beat selection.
I do still ... read more
