The nostalgia of hearing these songs when i was a child just makes it so much more enjoyable.
In my opinion, AC/DC was definetily overrated and all that, but that doesn't change the fact that the songs still slap insanely hard.
Man, let me tell you smth about this album. This album, is a REALLY fun listen, it has been on my playlist constantly. This is probably the best way to get into Horrorcore Rap, it being one of the lighter listens and it having a lot of good tracks (especially Break da Law "95"). After this i would recommend listening to Chapter. 2: World Domination or starting with $uicideboy$, KILL YOURSELF: The fuck god saga.
5 years, for him to drop 30 songs, which is a lot don't get me wrong. But the problem is, that almost none of these 30 songs are really good. POP OUT is alright, the same can be said for EVIL J0RDAN, and the only really good song is GOOD CREDIT (but Kendricks on the track so i gotta glaze him a lil), but all of the rest is just meh, with some being just bad, and i stand by that. But, this album will probably go really hard in concerts, i have to give it that.
Where a bunch of talented individuals came together and decided to change the rap game forever, gotta love it.
Didn't expect such intensity and violence from MC Ren after Straight Outta Compton, since the main songs where he was on, where quiet on that set and express yourself. But, I definitely enjoyed this project, since Ren was and is just really underrated as a rapper in general.
The album which got me into Horrocore. This album (better called song since it's a intro and 10 minute song) is just so weird to listen to for the first time, it just feels like a bit of everything. Definitely hard to get used to, but in no means bad.
The hate on this album is actually crazy, since almost the entire album is amazing except the first which is forgettable. Merry Muthafuckin' Xmas is easily one of the best troll/joke songs I've ever heard, and the other songs (except the intro) go extremely hard. Don't understand the hate lowkey.
Tbh, ima rate this album very highly, since its the album which got me into west coast rap. Easy as a artist, is just so incredibly fun to listen to.
Was a lot better than I thought it would be. Is very enjoyable to listen to (if your into this kind of music). Best songs on here in my opinion are easily VIVIVI and NOxygen.
"heart of the largest lion trapped inside a little dude."
R.I.P Phife Dawg
In my opinion, Kendricks best song from his beef with Drizzy, the Dicky Tickler.
