a step in the right direction?
maybe
it still has ai for the love of god
bully kind of is a step in the right direction, especially after ye had probably the worst mental breakdown of his whole life, and is seemingly starting to recover from it. however, it does raise some doubts about whether he should continue making music or retire.
bully is definitely a lot better than the abismal vultures 1 and 2, it has better ideas, it's just better. however, this still needs a shit ton of time ... read more
maluca is probably the greatest song of all time
i'm so mad that i discovered this artpiece a year after its release, because it easily could've been my album of the year of 2025
it’s so heart warming to hear mac’s voice again but also so sad to think that he’s not here anymore. we miss you mac.
im really excited for the album, 4/4 so far
damn 2/2 so far
dbd looking fantastic
having carti here would've been nice but this song still goes hard, great one
FINALLY
ok honestly i don't see this as the aoty as almost everyone is saying, but i think this is a great effort from the band. the first tracks are amazing, super empowering, hopeful and just gorgeous. pretty much some of the best music of the year, and some of the best from the band.
however, i feel like after these tracks the album kind of falls off, not to say these songs are bad, they just fail to get me invested and interested on what the band is doing.
the closer is amazing ... read more
what a way to close a decade-long chapter of the duo's career
breach is possibly, no, not possibly, everything i wanted them to do after clancy, this album absolutely rocks, it contrasts quite a lot with the more synthy and poppy sound of clancy. breach is like trench in a lot of ways but it also feels pretty different, it's gritty and eclectic, but also really anthemic, it's something i didn't really feel with trench idk why (maybe i'm tripping on that take but ... read more
6 years ago this man right here was a youtube rapper. a. youtube. rapper.
now, in the present he just released a strong contender for the best album of the year, in a year where big names (and artists) like the weeknd, playboi carti, tyler the creator, and more, dropped albums. what the fuck.
ok let's actually talk abt this album
this is just breathtaking honestly, one of the most lush, completely out of this world, utterly ethereal and artsy music projects i've heard in a REALLY ... read more
this was a pretty enjoyable experience
there are quite a few things that could be improved, but it's a pretty good album.
the production is pretty good, but i feel like some songs stand out more than others. even so, this album has very good production. i still have some issues with the vocal mix and the overall mix, but it's not something that ruins the experience, not by a long shot. another issue I had was the consistency of this LP, it has a lot of great ideas and styles, but ... read more
ty @Brilxonic for the recommendation!!
i gotta say this song is great
the production here is really good
like REALLY good, it feels so heavenly and i love the heavy synth use, and that second half omg it's so good, i like the rapping and flow too
the only "issue" i really have is the mix, it could be more polished, specially the vocals, but it kind of makes it charming in a way
anyways, this was a nice surprise, looking forward to the album!
at first listen i thought this was kind of ass but it really grew on me
and i mean a lot
i couldn't stand the autotuned vocals but now i really like them
this song is great
the only problem i have is that it feels kind of all over the place sometimes but it's not a major one
great song
is this imaginal disk 2 or something
all bad jokes aside, this is such a nice surprise
dude, this album is amazing
geniunely some of the best jazz rap i've heard in a long time
it has incredible beats, an incredible concept, incredible rapping; it's breathtaking.
McKinley Dixon just proved he's one of the best rappers on the modern scene and deserves a lot more attention. i hope this album gives him more of a spotlight
oh and the last 3 tracks here are some of the best rap ... read more

no but seriously this is great
miley is proving what she's capable of on this album, she's capable of making a really epic, lush and beautiful album, and this is what she did on this record, i'm surprised tbh
this is miley cyrus at her best, definitely the best album of her career
i just wanted to say thank you
thank you swans
thank you for everything
even if this isn't your last album
thank you
thank you for making me feel happy, thank you for making me feel sad, thank you for making me scared as shit, thank you for providing me an escape from reality, thank you for putting me on several trances, thank you for the multiple eargasms you gave me, thank you for making me cry, thank you for making me forget about my problems, thank you for making me laugh ... read more
how did i forget to review this?
honestly i was really waiting really anxiously to hear a new release from her, since her last one is one of my favourite albums of this decade so far
but back to this album
it's amazing
compared to de todas las flores, which was a really jazzy album, this album feels way more latin and seductive, with a lot of elements of bolero and other genres, and i love it. like on most of her albums, the instrumentals are gorgeous, and her vocals are just ... read more
i knew ts was going to be amazing when the first 10 seconds are already giving me goosebumps
billy woods is back with probably his most horrifying and haunting album yet
the really eerie instrumentals and billy's extremely dense lyricism make up for a really unique and polarizing listen, i can't really explain everything i felt listening to this album, but mostly it was a really messed up combination of angst and fear that sometimes becomes chill
dude, it's been a while since ... read more
somehow even better than their debut
model/actriz is back with their sophomore LP "Pirouette". and it's amazing.
it seems like the band is going for a more dancy/melodic direction on this record. you still have some of the elements from dogsbody, like the horny ahh vocals, the very unhinged production but everything comes together more accessibly. it still remains to be a very unique and entertaining listen however. also the hooks are pretty improved on this record, ... read more
thank you @Toxxicat for sending me your song!
this is great, i love constant repetition of the main melody, it's really good. the first part got me pretty interested, but the second part was amazing, i love the noisy guitars, the background keys are nice too, and everything is so dreamy and layered! (accurate title)
also i'm so sorry, i forgot to check this out earlier, i kind of regret it now lmao
great song, looking forward to hearing more
honestly i was kind of underwhelmed with the singles but hearing this as a full experience is pretty good
bcnr is back with their first album after the departure of isaac wood
and it’s unsurprisingly great
i didn’t really like the new direction at first but it grew on me
the band leaves the post-rocky sound their known for to add more prog elements and some pop too, it’s really nice and whimsical asf
it was not what i was expecting at all but i really liked it, with this ... read more
thank you @ajanim for sending me your work!!
another amazing track
it's different from what i've heard from the other single, but it's still amazing. this song definitely leans more into ambient and i really like it, i love the really drony, dark intro on this song, and i love the electroacoustic part too, it left me kind of speechless tbh
i'm actually pretty hyped for the album
keep it up, this is actually amazing and i would love to see more!
