This is exactly the album people who think rap is all about drugs, gang violence, and sex imagine.
It's crazy with how quickly DaBaby's career is deteriorating in the span of not even a full year, and just how much of it is his fault directly. After the homophobic remarks came two of the most bland, unoriginal, and downright forgettable songs in rap this year, and then he drops Back On My Baby Jesus Sh!t AGAIN and it is insanely evident just how far DaBaby has fallen. Gang of Youths, after dropping total serene, are back to give 2021 one more track; the man himself sees the band's sound get closer to its apex; it is poppy yet profound, it is big and bold, and I love it. If you found anything from their other projects enjoyable, I would recommend this one.
