With the bloated tracklist, gimmicky beats, repetitive flows, corny lyrics, and unnecessary beefs, JPEGMAFIA has, in a strange way, become the Drake of the alternative/experimental hip hop scene.

Great comeback album for the most part, but it is a bit bloated and inconsistent.

God Does Like Ugly is overflowing with JID's most mind-blowing verses, impressive songwriting, and ambitious production choices, but the album's fun second act goes on for a little too long and spoils the pacing slightly.

Tha Carter VI starts off solid for the first 2 tracks and then immediately falls into mediocrity. Then, right at the halfway point, it falls even further into unlistenability for the vast majority of the remaining runtime.

MS. MURAL is one of the best written songs I have ever heard in my entire life.

Stankonia is the best Outkast album. Every song is brilliantly composed, blending the duo's southern hip-hop style with futuristic electronic sounds as well as 70's rock and funk, and the interludes do a great job of tying the world of the album together. Some Rap Songs perfectly captures the feeling of being lost in the midst of a long period of depression with its dark, abstract production, loose song structures, and lyrically dense songwriting.

Very solid final album from Childish Gambino. There's a couple tracks that don't really hit for me, such as the intro and "Can You Feel Me", but most of the songs on here range from good to great. It's a little bit all over the place, but I think it kinda works.

I overlooked Veteran for a long time because of its more ambient sound compared to JPEGMAFIA's other albums, but upon revisiting it recently, I think it's one of Peggy's best albums to date. I love that the album gets more and more strange as the tracklist goes on until it finally peaks at Rainbow Six with a beat that sounds like death itself, and then finally letting up a little bit on "1488" and "Curb Stomp". Since I LAY MY LIFE DOWN FOR YOU dropped, I've been on a crazy JPEGMAFIA kick recently and I think that LP! is his best album. It's completely overflowing with so much creativity and so many quotable bars. It's an excellent debut album full of personality and charisma. The beats are great, and when Kanye zeroes in on a topical focus, his songwriting is brilliant. The skits are all funny, but there are a lot of them and at points, especially towards the beginning, they can slow down the pace of the album a bit.

I can't believe this album is real and I can just press a button and listen to it whenever I want. That's crazy
