JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP
50

With the bloated tracklist, gimmicky beats, repetitive flows, corny lyrics, and unnecessary beefs, JPEGMAFIA has, in a strange way, become the Drake of the alternative/experimental hip hop scene.

Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager
95

One day the world will see Man on the Moon II for the masterpiece that it is

Chance the Rapper - STAR LINE
75

Great comeback album for the most part, but it is a bit bloated and inconsistent.

JID - God Does Like Ugly
85

God Does Like Ugly is overflowing with JID's most mind-blowing verses, impressive songwriting, and ambitious production choices, but the album's fun second act goes on for a little too long and spoils the pacing slightly.

Lil Wayne - Tha Carter VI
25

Tha Carter VI starts off solid for the first 2 tracks and then immediately falls into mediocrity. Then, right at the halfway point, it falls even further into unlistenability for the vast majority of the remaining runtime.

Lupe Fiasco - DRILL MUSIC IN ZION
85

MS. MURAL is one of the best written songs I have ever heard in my entire life.

Bob Dylan - Self Portrait
20

God damn this album sucks

Playboi Carti - MUSIC
60

It just feels like he doesn't really care all that much

Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother
85

Serious contender for most underrated album of all time

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
95

Incredible record, but it does NOT end well.

Mac Miller - Balloonerism
95

I think this might be Mac Miller's most avant-garde album. At the very least, it's his most psychedelic. Beautiful record

James Blake - Like The End
95

Perfectly captures the feeling of watching the end of the world coming and being completely powerless to stop it

OutKast - Stankonia
100

Stankonia is the best Outkast album. Every song is brilliantly composed, blending the duo's southern hip-hop style with futuristic electronic sounds as well as 70's rock and funk, and the interludes do a great job of tying the world of the album together. Of course, at the forefront of it all, Andre 3000 and Big Boi are at the top of their game rapping-wise all across Stankonia, and some of their best songwriting is present on the album as well. The duo's other albums are ... read more

Earl Sweatshirt - Some Rap Songs
95

Some Rap Songs perfectly captures the feeling of being lost in the midst of a long period of depression with its dark, abstract production, loose song structures, and lyrically dense songwriting.

Childish Gambino - Bando Stone and The New World
70

Very solid final album from Childish Gambino. There's a couple tracks that don't really hit for me, such as the intro and "Can You Feel Me", but most of the songs on here range from good to great. It's a little bit all over the place, but I think it kinda works.

JPEGMAFIA - Veteran
95

I overlooked Veteran for a long time because of its more ambient sound compared to JPEGMAFIA's other albums, but upon revisiting it recently, I think it's one of Peggy's best albums to date. I love that the album gets more and more strange as the tracklist goes on until it finally peaks at Rainbow Six with a beat that sounds like death itself, and then finally letting up a little bit on "1488" and "Curb Stomp". On top of all that, Veteran is filled to the brim ... read more

JPEGMAFIA - LP! (Offline Version)
95

Since I LAY MY LIFE DOWN FOR YOU dropped, I've been on a crazy JPEGMAFIA kick recently and I think that LP! is his best album. It's completely overflowing with so much creativity and so many quotable bars. The beats across this album have a ton of atmosphere and Peggy's rapping on this album is fantastic, especially on tracks like "HAZARD DUTY PAY!" and "TIRED, NERVOUS & BROKE". I legitimately love every single song on here, which is not something I can ... read more

Kanye West - The College Dropout
95

It's an excellent debut album full of personality and charisma. The beats are great, and when Kanye zeroes in on a topical focus, his songwriting is brilliant. The skits are all funny, but there are a lot of them and at points, especially towards the beginning, they can slow down the pace of the album a bit.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

I can't believe this album is real and I can just press a button and listen to it whenever I want. That's crazy

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
100

One of the rawest pieces of art I have ever experienced
