A nostalgic album for me. They nailed the vibe, not every song is perfect but overall a lovely album.
People really underrate this album. This is where the Chillis really started to find their sound. Some of their best songs are here (Knock Me Down, Stone Cold Bush).
QOTSA’s most experimental album, it works. Thoroughly enjoyable, nice and dirty.
Frank Zappa revisiting the classics with a new sound. What’s not to like, the synclavier fuckery is hilarious and the horns sound amazing. This is a masterful showcase of Zappa's composing ability.
Superheaven nailed this grungy, heavy and emotional sound on this album. I wish they were able to recreate it. They keep this energy live at least.
Goddamn beautiful album, perfectly paced.
A perfect album. The greatest avant-metal album of all time. God bless Mike Patton.
