This score is only going to go up from here upon relisten. Some genuinely perfect tracks on here. I need to put this on one night when I’m home alone and it’s reliant and then maybe it’ll get a 90 🤣
I have a feeling this will grow on me. A lot of the tracks kinda came and went but there were plenty that hit really hard. This is my first front to back listen of a Travis Scott album so I’ve got a few more ahead of me before I can fully form an opinion on him. As of now I’m happy with the rating I gave it.
EDIT -> yeah this grew on me. 87 -> 97
its considered his best for a reason (even thought its definitely not). Production, lyrics, flow, all incredible. I like it a lot.
If the whole album sounded like “Levels”, “Thick”, and “Left Eye” than it’d be a decent project. Unfortunately every other song sounds nearly identical and extremely monotonous. This the kind of music some bum blasts full volume out the window of his squatted truck. This whole album is just one monotone noise to me man. This does not move me at all lmao. No real lyrics and the beats are average at best. I think with the right producer BigXthaPlug could ... read more
The most beautifully insane album ever. On Sight is the greatest intro song ever made. This album makes me feel something man. The fact that he made this right after MBDTF out of spite is nuts. It's the opposite of everything you expect it to be. Perfect.
Life changing album. Discovering DOOM for me was on the same level as when I discovered Carti.
I can tell this album is going to grow on me. I don’t think I listened to it at the right time in my life. I love the sound and Bob’s writing is nice. I think the older I get the more I’ll appreciate it. I need to listen to more to get a feel for him as an artist though.
100 is reserved for only albums that changed who I am as a person or how I approach listening to music. DAMN comes so close, but it didn’t quite require my brain the way TPAB did. I still think this is my favorite Kendrick album to go back and listen to, but I can’t say it’s the best nor is it the one that’s had the greatest impact on me. Either way this record is fantastic and a must listen for anyone getting into hiphop.

There are only like 3 good songs man. This feels so misguided and devoid of purpose or message. It’s like he went back on everything he tried to say in TLOP. Kanye’s die hard fan base is a cancer and I don’t understand how you can praise this album. I don’t think it’s as awful as everyone makes it out to be, but it is definitely his worst.
Music paints a picture and this is a portrait of me if I was a sick cowboy. Perfect in its flaws. I cannot make it through "A Song for You" without crying, and I'm not ashamed to admit it! "I love you in a place where there's no space or time", are the most beautiful words I've heard in my life.
Honored to be the first user to submit this album to the website and be its first rating. I discovered Femi Tahiru in early 2021. This was the first project of his I listened to, and I immediately recommended it to my buddy. It does seem a little safe for the genre but each song is a playlist worthy, smooth, and satisfyingly vibey look into Femi’s soul. I have a feeling my rating will get higher as I continue to listen to this and his other work. 75!
Favorite: Father Time (We Cry Together Honorable Mention)
Holy cow. I'm going to do a re-listen soon, but as of know I am pretty amazed. Listening to this album when it dropped sophomore year was nuts. Era defining album for me.
Dio’s voice is unmatched. Incredible aura and atmosphere. A couple forgettable songs but overall a great record.
