One of my favorite beats ever. It’s also one of my favorite songs from him. No filler, absolute killer

The fact that their best song is a cover of Justin Bieber is kind of insane. Vocals are sexy and instrumental is slow and sensual. Even if it’s supposed to be a joke song, it’s so good that I’m actually considering it as a song of the year candidate. Wow

Reviewing the album soon but holy shit this is insane. It’s for sure going to be one of my favorites. And I might honestly perfer it to Amen. So many cool transitions and an overall simple explosive sound I can get down with. Also wtf is this cover lmao

Kid A is considered the greatest left turn in music history, I consider trench to be the greatest 180 in music history. This album has consistently great song writing and production that it’s able to blow their entire discography out of the water. When I grew out of Twenty one pilots, my music taste broadened and expanded. NPC Music wasn’t doing it anymore. Trench reinvigorated my love for the band in a new way. “Chlorine” has the best chorus on the entire album. The ... read more
Glad to report that my bois cooked. Such a fun and diverse Pop experience from front to back, this is an easy AOTY contender. No shade to the singles off this album, but the deep cuts were able to shine through. “Lavish” might be one of the most intriguing songs 21P has every written. It has an ear worm chorus that is irresistible. “Vignette” has some of the best vocals on the record with its soaring chorus and bright piano chords. “Midwest indigo” reminds me ... read more
So far the singles for Clancy have been good… up until this. It just feels like a very generic singer songwriter radio ballad with little to no interesting qualities. Hoping Jenna’s version is much better

Musically the ideas are interesting, but the production is very thin and a lot of the vocals are kinda bad tbh. I see the appeal, but this is not for me.

Little too long winded for me. I like some of the production but the song structure is a bit awkward. The industrial screams are giving nine inch nails with the distortion. Not terrible

Actually don’t hate this at all. While it’s certainly a drop in quality from trench, it doesn’t do anything truly unlikeable. The pop aesthetics do wear thin, especially on tracks like mulberry street. Vocals are mostly good throughout, but some of the production on this album can feel like a double edged sword. “The outside” has some great synth pop leads and punchy drums. “Shy away” brings more of an alt rock edge with driving drums and some more ... read more
Holy shit! This is actually fire. Leagues better then the last track. Production is on ten, it’s punchy and has personality. Vocals once again are complementary and fit well. Is it AOTY potential?? Dunno but I’m still digging it

Pretty solid! It’s got some good moments and has a nice progression. Vocals are good but probably could have relied less on the effects. The mathematic riffs matched with the indie feel is a cool combo. Not bad!

A very odd noise rock album for sure. It’s definitely got some punch and visceral screams, but also very awkward out of place horns. It actually adds to the manic feeling of the album. The distortion is so crunchy and mixed so damn high. Lyrically speaking, this project is unhinged and disturbed. “Elephant” is about someone who causes boats to drown, claiming it’s their hobby. The marching band type percussion along with the vocals is a headache in the best way possible. ... read more
Glad to see Kendrick co-owns 0V0 now
Nothing to see here, just a little more salt in the wound. It’s not a jarring as “meet the grahams” but it’s still brutal

It’s nearly perfect in my opinion. Serves quite well as a companion record to Toxicity. Literally some of the best Nu-metal and metal in general has to offer. The vocals are stellar. Seriously the harmonies and shouts and screams are stupendous. Production is crushing and leaves no square inch lacking in flavor or instrumental depth. Explosive, challenging, and hard as cement. They slayed

This made my skin crawl. This made me jaw drop, this was Kendrick’s cou de grace knockout blow. And it was certainly a blow

Jus two bois getting crunked. Genuinely an amazing song with so many fun production elements. It’s so daring and cheeky, but it walked the tight rope of cringe quite well.

not really wowing me this time. This could grow on me in the greater context of the album, but as it stands right now it’s a bit mild. It’s got some good moments, but holistically the track is a little too low key. Still in the greater scheme of their catalog it’s really not bad.
