A more thorough review of what I believe to be the quintessential album of the 1960s.
This album does not need much introduction. The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s final album is perhaps one of the most iconic rock albums of all time. And it’s for good reason, as on this album it becomes pretty obvious how Jimi Hendrix is so often considered the number one guitarist in history. The album is surprisingly diverse as well, from the very catchy short songs earlier in the album, to the 15 ... read more
Despite a very long length, All Things Must Pass remains quite consistent and enjoyable over its time, also solidifying George Harrison as easily at least the 2nd best solo discography in the Beatles.
dude, are people being bribed to give this pile of shit a good score?
Clipping’s 5th album is absolutely atrocious, and the worst must-hear album on the site.
The amount of redeemable qualities keeping this off of a 0/10 are extremely minimal. you find production engineered to piss you off along with a rapper who sounds like Andre 3000 on Anesthesia.
an atrocious album. I’m feeling a strong 0 to light 1 on this.
I can appreciate the conceptuality of this album. It just doesnt feel that well executed.

Black Thought and Danger Mouse combine forces to create one of my favorite albums of 2022. On this album you will not find anything revolutionary, but you will receive some excellent hip hop. Danger Mouse returns with excellent production, accompanied by great verses from Black Thought, who serves to remind the audience he is one of the best rappers of all time, with this project showcasing his amazing longevity. Along with this collaboration comes multiple generations of ... read more
While the lyricism appears weak on this record, Dugui has shown a bright future, especially in his production.
The only reason this gets a 1 is because it’s so terrible that its funny. This is genuinely one of the worst albums of all time.
I would actually take Blackstar over this, but this album is also fantastical.
Michael jackson creates one of the most iconic albums of the past 100 years even before he turned white.

A relisten to Radiohead’s “magnum opus” of the 2000s.
In Rainbows is a very strong record for Radiohead’s career, and its enough to earn it #6 of all time globally on this website. I think the rest of radiohead is overshadowed by Thom Yorke on this album, but I still found this album to be quite enjoyable, and a nice change to what you would find on OK Computer, even if that album is better.
i would give this a Strong 7 to a Light 8
Apart from some of the genius lyricism, this album does not sound that special.

Today I have relistened to the #1 rated album on AOTY, To Pimp A Butterfly. One of the only albums on the site where more than half of the ratings are 100s. And it’s pretty well justified. This album really has a lot to offer, from the jazz elements throughout the album, to more traumatic stories on songs like “u” to iconic hits like “Alright” which have likely been played millions of times on AUX. While I don’t think this album is ... read more
