"Refugees are invaders and the government treats them better than us" - is all I had to know.
The music is boring, in general. There are like two or three moments of interesting stuff happening, maybe on tracks like Blood of Flowers, but the lyrics are so stupidly Conservative and corny that I really don't know what to say.
The Racism Is Alive
An aggressive demonstration of what carefully placed soundbites and absolutely, devastatingly genius arrangements can achieve in just 38 minutes.
Every single song is unique and lovable in some way, from the playful and joyful tunes like Frankly, Mr. Shankly to the meditative and satirical pieces like The Queen Is Dead, which ironically are listed consecutively. However, there were moments where the sky just fell over me and I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with emotion. ... read more

Man, I wish I liked this more...
There are some absolutely BEAUTIFUL arrangements on this. Be it piano, vocals, acoustics, strings... there really are distinct moments that make me feel like I'm at the center of a hectic dance between unexplainable forces of nature that are set on displaying their grandeur to me, an insignificant pebble.
However, there are also some moments where I feel at the line where two biomes are transitioning into each other in Minecraft. Especially on the November ... read more
I love how Dorian just casually invented music in 2019.
Highlights: Emasculate, Man To Man, Flamboyant, Live By The Sword (everything else as well, but these are ๐ฅต)
I tried to listen and it seems interesting... It's abrasive for sure but just not in a way I find palatable. Great work on the tracks though.
Amazing!
Stellar production and intricate song structures...thing feels like a journey. It has lots of personality, lots of power and emotion and if not for the language barrier I bet I would cry every single song.

They thought they ate.
Sounds half-asleep, no punch on the guitars, on the kicks on nothing. It presents itself as such a sinister and horrifying listen but makes no production decisions to supplement that artistic direction. It's just dissonant because that's what you do I guess.
Just another techdeath metal project. Nothing more, nothing less... just some wankery.
Danny Brown switches gears to a slower paced meditation on the irreversible passage of time and he does with excellent results. Every single song has stellar production; extremely moody and deep bass with some western accents and escapades speak their story with immaculate execution. Even the goofier cuts, like Tantor and Dark Sword Angel, don't distract from the experience and feel like a fun little detour before meeting with the therapist.
The best and most important aspect of the project is ... read more
Sad and chill indie rock album with pretty moments here and there that tug on my heart strings. I'm really surprised with the production. There are gorgeously melancholic atmospheric moments here and I am all about that. I just feel that it goes on for a little too long and I found myself thinking "Ok, alright, I got the idea" more than I would have liked by the end.

At least Evolution of Tears was somewhat fun (at best). This is just pure agony.
Horrible person, Masterful record.
Travis impresses me again, just like he did with Rodeo, with the surprisingly creative and intense production on almost every beat here. This thing has these very deep bass and kick hits that slap me with style as the distorted melodic percussive arrangements are sooooo, so tastefully done.
The record is dark, atmospheric, ambitious, polished and if not for some questionable/mediocre cuts it would have been my album of the year.
The last track, Til Further ... read more
