Sade’s legendary 1992 album is nothing short of a masterpiece with perfect examples of all ranges of emotions. Elegant and smooth instrumentation paired with hauntingly beautiful vocals and perfect production bring a sense of pain and pleasure at the same time. The lyrics can’t fit the sound much better, tackling feelings of pure love and heartbreak while also conscious topics on songs like “Feel No Pain” and “Pearls”.

No one is expecting Laroi to be experimental so judging him for what he’s known for, chill vibey background music, it’s just alright. The only stand out track is A COLD PLAY and he never reaches that level of quality again except maybe the closing track BACK WHEN YOU WERE MINE.
