Beautiful and nostalgic.
Alexandra Savior’s sophomore project is a gorgeous momentum in her short career. Full of moody yet enchanting melodies, and soft and sweet vocals. You can feel some Stevie Nicks influences, but this is Alexandra all the way. It’s polished it’s cohesive, and although some tracks feel a little old or overdone, the album as a whole is incredible. Alexandra put herself at the peak with this one.
Silly and dumb. But it’s a really fun way to release tension in this times of crisis.
Chromatica, comes in a time when life as we once knew it’s long gone, And Lady Gaga decided to keep us entertained with all of this fun neck-breakers. Telling a story of redemption with the most danceable beats I’ve heard in a while from Gaga.
The lyrics may not be as original or personal as some may highlight, and the instrumentals may not be as innovative, but Gaga made an excellent job ... read more
Björk created a futuristic and otherworldly record on a fantastic and breathtaking way. This is the definition of “music for the new millennium”.
Homogenic exist in the thin space between real and imagination, love and war. A daydream unraveled within a nightmare.
What has me astonished is that this album is actually 20 years old, and it sounds too futuristic and innovative to have been released even this year. The mesmerizing vocals give the impression you’re caught ... read more
Beautiful, elegant and emotional. This is everything I wanted it to be. Lana del Rey has become one of my favorite and most intriguing artist. her lyrics and melancholic sounds had become the soundtrack of my everyday life. But with Norman fucking Rockwell, her most ambitious and beautiful project to date, she put me on pause and made me entered the cathartic yet destructive world she has created. Telling a beautiful story of love in apocalyptic times. Words are not enough to describe the ... read more
Everyone’s favorite sad boy is back with a beautiful yet not so memorable sophomore album. With songs full of sweet melodies that hit close to home, and lyrics more mature, Joji mastered his art in 18 songs worth listening too. Even though Most of the song lack that wow factor, it’s still a really good and pleasant experience. From more soulful tracks like “EW”or “MODUS” to more joyful ones like “Gimme Love” or “Daylight”

I’m not gonna get on here and lie to you, I wasn’t feeling this one. Fiona Apple has created amazing projects in the past and my expectations were a little too high.
When I started listening to the first song something in me kind of turned off and I just wasn’t connecting with the song. In fact I didn’t connect with the entire album at first. It wasn’t until the second listened that something in me clicked and started flowing along with it.
At a first listen the ... read more
I never paid attention to grimes until now.
Miss Anthropocene sets it self apart from this world and instead creates one of its own. Grimes created a post apocalyptic universe destroyed by global warming and pollution, spreading otherworldly sounds all over the place reinforcing her unique kind-of-robotic vocals. I don’t know what was I expecting from this album, I just know it blew my expectations away. Although this more of pop-ish sound sounds a little different to what grimes is used ... read more
As a 17 year old who grew up In a Christian household I never listened to rock, because I always had that feeling that it was unholy and I will be worshiping the devil by doing so. I’m so glad I’ve got that mind set out of my head, and I’m glad I listened to this album. I think the thing that scared me the most was that it was so aggressive and as a child I kind of felt scared by it, but I just took a deep breath and let it play, and God that was the best thing I’ve ... read more
Most of the albums released this year feel like they were meant to comfort us from the destructive world around us, and Mandinga times is not the exception. It took 10 years and a global pandemic for Rita Indiana to delivered an album that is as obscure, as it is fun and sad. Taking inspiration from different sounds of the latinx musical scene and mixing it with a rock-ish punk-ish sound as she’s known for in DR. La montra remains one of the greatest songwriters to ever live in the ... read more
The great thing about this album is that it feels like the soundtrack of the life I wished I had as a teenager. For some reason it feels nostalgic and fresh at the same time. It’s fun, it’s heartwarming and above all it feels true to Conan Gray. I will forever cherish this as the album I go to when I want to feel alive.
