Another utterly depressing offering from The Thin One. You should listen to this album in the middle of mental breakdown and just see what happens 🤷
Very good, might say fantastic! Something I love about early prog like this is how diverse it all was, spawning countless gems like this.
Lots of really good songs here, some quite poppy tracks. Patience is a fantastic song!
As he gets older, the genius of Hammill only gets more distilled. This is the culmination of an extensive career and many decades of experience and wisdom, and Hammill presents it as a casual apocalypse. This is an utterly mature work from a man who has long since dropped all pretense.
I understand nearly none of this, even though they're speaking english. The Italian accent is just too strong!
Truly excellent! Little Red Ringing/Robin Hood Hit The Road are both incredible songs!
hard to beat a song called "Walking Drugstore Man"
also why the fuck does Keep It Cool end so abruptly? gave me a heart attack.
The album ends on a surprisingly mellow note, with track 7 giving you a moment of peace.
Love Is Peace gives me terrible nightmares if i listen to it at night.
