One of my favourite Hip-Hop albums of all time. I enjoyed the Ye production all of this project. I like that it just sounds so happy. Definetly a great listen it is so much fun. I love it so much. "The Food (Live)" has one of my favourite Kanye West features alongside his feature for SlumVillage on "Selfish". This is the first Common album I have listened too and I can not wait to check out more of his work in the future. Common just has a way on this album to talk about ... read more
I just love when artists care so much about their craft. I love the little details like that she says "halfway" halfway into the album and the fact that the album as a whole is a perfect loop. Great debut album and their second one is so good I can not even imagine putting it onto a disk.
Some of these songs go unreasonably hard. Others are just alright. Decent Album.
My favourite JPEGMAFIA album. I love the last few tracks where he strips back his crazy producing style whilst maintaining a very creative and unique sound. The AI sample "Turn Off the Lights" by Future is probably the best and maybe the only way to implement AI into music. I love Exmilitary and I feel like it might be his best song. Nothing feels out of place, not a single sound too much. It is just enough of a wild sound to be a PEGGY song and it also sounds so beatiful. I like the ... read more
It is so much fun. The instrumentalization is incredibly diverse. There are so many sounds and rythms throughout the project. It is not taking itself too seriously, which makes it funny at times. At the same time they are tapping into some more sincere topics and issues aswell. It was a refreshring experience to listen to it the first time. I can not fathom that bands like this exist and stop after making a great album like this. The Intro, Tuff Ghost, Tuff Luff, and Ready to Die are all ... read more
"About You" is an amazing song, it would maybe even make it to my top 100 of all time. But the rest of the album does not do it for me. Some of the songs just don't have any unique sound to them in my opinion. There are some highs on this project but also some lows for me. The 1975 on the Charli XCX remix "might say something stupid" with Jon Hopkins aswell sounded so great so this was a little bit of a disappointment to me.
I actually really enjoyed it. Judging by the other reviews I have a world of albums with a similiar sound that are just way better, can not wait to listen to them. The interludes did not really bother me but they were not great either. I really liked "fear less", "places to be" and "ten". Just a fun summer sound in my opinion.
Some decent songs, overall it was just kind of boring and not a lot of crazy moments. He has potential but he needs to upgrade his creativity in song-making awell as his pen.
The user score only being 70 is so sad to see. This album is full of bangers and I think people should give it another listen. It is very experimental but it does not miss a lot throughout and the sounds are so unique and interesting that I think it is his best, at least his most buyont work. The critics even like it less, but let us be honest who cares about their opinion anyway.

It is underrated but I feel like it is nothing really GREAT or SPECIAL. I believe that he has shown a lot of potential and it that potential is not met throughout the album. Only momentarily you can see his genius and I think this is a little sad for me. I really hope that he can live up to his potential on his future projects and I wish that he continues to experiment and be adventerous with his sound. DECENT.
This felt like a movie. It is an amazing project and some of his best tracks are on this album. I love Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe, I love Money Trees and Swimming Pools. The soundscape and the lyrical content on all of them are great. SAMIDOT and TAOPP are some of his most complete songs, they consist of great story telling and are underlined by wonderful produciton. I LOVE IT. It might be my favourite Kendrick project. Only TPAB challenges it maybe in all of Rap. For me it is simply perfect.
GIVE IT TO THE WORLD.
RELEASE IT ON STREAMING.
I BEG.
THERE WILL BE TEARS.
This album is a journey and you really need to listen to it uninteruppted with as little background noise as possible. Once it clicks it becomes a contender for the best album of all time. Sleep is my favourite track. A couple of months ago I would not have thought that I could ever like a song longer than ten minutes especially when theres no vocal perfomances but now I am glad that I have heard it.
Crying delivers one of the most triumphant, diverse, and instrumentally intricate rock records I've heard this year. - theneedledrop
And it is so much fun aswell.
