Kid Cudi has returned after INSANO, which, let's be honest, was a bit of a disaster. This album doesn't offer much in the way of lyrical depth, and a lot of it feels pretty generic. But when you compare it to Cudi's recent stuff, it's a pretty solid step forward.

Pusha T and Malice reunite for one of the best, maybe even the best album of the year. The Birds Don’t Sing is an amazing intro with emotional verses about the passing of their parents, but “Chains & Whips” is the track that really sets the tone for the rest of the album.
