My debut EP "Today Was A Good Day" is finally out!
I'm very proud of this EP, as it feels I'm stepping in the right direction when it comes to production. It may not be perfect, but I hope ya'll get something out of it :)
Enjoy

As a man, I'll gladly clean your laundry, Mika 😊
Out of all the BROCKHAMPTON related albums I've heard, Mika's Laundry is the best album so far. While there's still room for improvement, Matt did really well on this album and shows that he can carry his own weight. For an album that's considered pop, I really love how different and unique this is. The production is genuinely so cute and soft, while also having some bangers in the middle. There's so many moments where I'm lost in the moment ... read more
Type of shit that makes me want to pick up a prostitute, drive for a couple of minutes, then drop her off without doing anything 😤
While WE DON'T TRUST YOU is nothing amazing, there's no denying that it's a God damn vibe. Sure, there are a couple of filler tracks that don't offer much, but when it hits, it HITS. The title track that starts the album is a great example of that. Metro knows how to make a track that feels both cold and badass. The beat feels empty, but it also has this ... read more
I'm religious, so this album is a 0
NO SINNERS IN MY HOUSE!! 😡
Well, this was quite a surprise. I've been meaning to check out samlrc's music, but it just kept slipping through my mind. But seeing a lot of positive reception for A Lonely Sinner, I thought now was a good time to check her out. And wow! This was great. While I don't review a whole lot of ambient rock albums, I've always had a love for this type of sound, and A Lonely Sinner is no different. The ... read more
Thank you, @Mie_yama, for recommending me this album :)
It's fine, I guess
I can understand the appeal for an album like this. After all, I have listened to very vibrant hyperpop albums like this before and enjoyed them. But here, I'm not really feeling it. I think my biggest problem is the vocals. They are just too much for me. One moment, I'm enjoying some of the digital and bubbly production, like on Twilight City and Babylon, but once Deko comes in, all that enjoyment goes ... read more
Injury Reserve 700 Followers Special 7/7
Original Review: Throughout this album, there is no sense of happiness to be found. With Groggs' death, Parker and Ritchie show how heavy this event was to them. But in the end, maybe there is still hope to keep going and get through this.
Rest in peace to Groggs. You will be missed
On June 29, 2020, Stepa Groggs, 1/3 of Injury Reserve, would pass away with no cause of death being released. Groggs' death had an impact on everything, and it's easy to ... read more

Lil Froggo
Psykos is actually my first ever listen of Bladee and Yung Lean. I've never been that interested in checking out them both, but once I saw they were releasing a collab project, I figured I just give them a shot. And you know what? It's not bad at all. It's not the best thing I've heard this year, but I enjoyed Psykos for the most part. The thing I like most about this album is the production. I love the mix of cloud rap and rock production, giving Psykos a unique ... read more
Injury Reserve 700 Followers Special 6/7
Original Review: Although not as hard as previous works, Injury Reserve still comes through with heavy production from Parker and nice wordplay from Ritchie and Groggs.
Original Score: 7/10
We're finally here. Injury Reserve's self-titled debut album. Truth be told, I don't really go back to this album that often, other than a few amazing tracks, so I didn't really remember much going into this album. After a couple of listens, I forgot how great their ... read more

Original Review: Please don't call the cops on us
While Drive It Like It's Stolen is definitely one of Injury Reserve's weaker projects, they still somehow manage to push their sound forward and give us a batch of low-key but great tracks. The production from Parker is great as always. It's a lot more chill, but it's still something I can bop to. RiTchie and Groggs still give us some great lyrics and performances. TenTenths is one stand-out track that ... read more

Original Review: A mixtape that deserves more recognition. I can't get enough out of this.
I'm just going to say it. I fucking love Floss. It's probably one of my favorite mixtapes of all time, being up there with Faces. It has everything I love about Injury Reserve and just a little bit more. It's fun, badass, creative, relatable, and goes absolutely hard as fuck. I constantly listen to Floss, to the point where I think it's near perfection because of ... read more

Original Review: I would gladly revisit this dentist
Now, this is the Injury Reserve I know and love. Live from the Dentist Office is the trio finally finding themselves and the sound they work with best. From the production to RiTchie and Groggs' performances, everything here shows confidence and chemistry between all 3 of them. The mixtape as a whole is such a bop and has some pretty underrated bangers from them. The first track, Yo, is such a ... read more

Cooler Colors sees Injury Reserve getting closer to the recognizable trio we all know and love. While Cooler Colors isn't anything amazing, it's definitely a huge and great improvement from Depth Chart. I think here, RiTchie and Groggs sound way more confident in themselves and bounce off each other more fluently, and their chemistry is a lot stronger, which I love to see. Black Sheep perfectly lays out the chemistry they share, and they completely ... read more
Fuck. 700 followers, and we only need around less than 300 more to reach 1K. I never thought we would grow this fast, but here we are. Again, thank you so much. Never in a million years would I think I would be close to reaching a huge milestone. Let's continue the grind to reach 1K 😤
So, pretty much like my 600 followers special, I will be doing a full deep dive into Injury Reserve's discography. But why Injury Reserve? Well, they're a very special group to me. I found them during the ... read more

Haven't heard any misses by this man so far
I'll be honest, at first, I wasn't really all that into Pinball. It felt a little more empty compared to MIKE'S other albums. I also wasn't used to this change in production for MIKE. But after a couple more listens, I'm enjoying Pinball way more. I now think this production is not only great, but it is a great switch up for MIKE since I'm so used to the dirty sample type production from him. However, this new style of production ... read more

Hot take: I prefer Pure Heroine over Melodrama. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Melodrama. Maybe it's just because I'm not as used to Melodrama as Pure Heroin, which is the album I grew up with. Still, Melodrama is a great pop album and deserves to be called a pop classic. I will say that the production has definitely evolved, still being catchy while also having depth. Sober is one track that has so many things going for it, and it all comes together nicely. The ... read more
SHE WAS 16 WHEN SHE MADE THIS?!?! What the fuck am I doing with my life? 😭
Being born around the 2000s was so weird yet amazing. There was so many amazing things that came of these years, and that included music. Sure, most of the music that came out aged horribly, but there are some music that aged like fine wine. There are so many songs I love that made up my entire childhood. One artist that was a part of my childhood was Lorde. While at the time I never listened to a whole album from ... read more
I don't know how I my dumbass never reviewed Black on Both Sides
Black on Both Sides. A classic in the hip-hop genre. You have the To Pimp A Butterfly's, you have the Madvillainy's, you have the Enter The Wu-Tang's, and then you have this. I mean, what is there not to love about this album? Just about everything on Black on Both Sides is perfect. Each track offers something different, but they always hit, and Mos Def knows how to make it amazing. And pretty every track has something memorable ... read more
Donuts In The Morning is the 2nd single off my upcoming EP called "Today Was A Good Day." If you couldn't tell already, this song is blatantly J Dilla, but I'm honestly proud of it. It would mean a lot if ya'll listened to it. Reviews would be nice, too :)

Call my bitch blue lips by how she makes me feel like I have blue balls
Before I start this review, I just want to say FUCK YOU SPOTIFY! Why did I have I have to wait a whole day later to listen to this album? That's some fucking bullshit. Anyways
ScHoolboy Q. You know him. You love him. He's probably one of the best gangsta rappers that's alive. There's a lot to love about him. He has the energy, he has the charisma, and he has the bars. But while he has all of that, there's no denying that ... read more

What surlace said
Not my favorite album from Everything Everything, but it's still a pretty fun listen. The production, for the most part, is nice and is pretty catchy and atmospheric. I also love how it can get a little bit trippy with it. The singing is also real great. I'm already used to the high-pitched singing that's on basically every track, but I still find it pleasant and fitting for this music. The first track, Wild Guess, starts the album the album off on a high note. ... read more
