The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads
Just as was told, down came the angels falling from cloud 9 with crippled wings, waiting to hit the ground so soft. These are the days when we shall touch down with the prophets to guard and to guide you into the storm. The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads, a Christian rock opera released in 2001 under the ... read more
My most listened to album of all time
It definitely wasn't perfect on the first listen, quite the contrary, it was an album I had to sit with for awhile to really understand it's appeal
To put it simply it draws me into a different world like no other world. I'm amazed on how well it does this seemingly without trying. Each song flows so well into the next it feels like sacrilege to listen to it out of order or start it not at the beginning.
The lyrics are potent and real, ... read more
While there were definitely some songs that really piqued my interest I don't feel like I'll be coming back to this album

I can't ... read more
For the second time, ants from down there, heavenfire, lockinarea, black midi new maruja
The thing about this group thus far is how much they pull from their influences. Hell it feels like I am listening to a mastered demo list of 3 artists compiled into one album. But holy shit is it really good. Many times while listening at work I have to just stop what I'm doing and listen to what TF I'm hearing. Shit I played a couple songs 3 times before finishing the album. Some songs are a ... read more
Coldplay, Radiohead, and blur
This album is the first I've heard of Dove. Coming from around the time of all of the listed bands you can hear the influence clearly in every single song. While not wholly original, it takes from the influences very well. All my favorite parts of the bands in one album. Sign me up. While not really having any super standout tracks, there really aren't any duds either. Every track is consistently great and well written. I think they did an impeccable job ... read more
