How the fuck do you go from an album like 'Revolution Radio' to this steaming hot pile of radio pop slop? How can you throw away the last 4 albums of work you put in to create whatever this is?
It doesn't make sense. The entire project gives off velvet sofa live laugh love sign type of vibes and I hate it. All this is a desperate attempt of radio airtime which didn't come. Instead they wait 4 years and instead of constructing a concise album with a clear goal in mind, they ... read more
A truly great album that is slept on. It provides great structure and is reminiscent of 21CB and AI in songs like 'Forever Now' and 'Somewhere Now' with the combining of multiple musical ideas. Along with quick fun songs like 'Bang Bang'. This overall creates a great listening experience.
BEST: Forever Now
Worst: Say Goodbye
Dos is an improvement on Uno but that doesn't take much to do so. This again holds cringy lyrics such as the whole of 'Fuck Time' but also has some really groovy basslines and some cool solos. But songs like 'Nightlife' completely disregard this in every way shape or form.
BEST: Stop When The Red Lights Flash
WORST: Nightlife
Now this one I have to disagree on.
How do you from two excellent cinematic masterpieces to slop made for clubs? There are certainly highlights on this album such as 'Nuclear Family' but these are so sparse and so little that they get completely outshined by the horrible moments. These include awful lyrics, forced cringy swearing or just slop you would hear on heart radio. They could have done so much better but failed misreably
BEST: Nuclear Family
WORST: Kill The DJ
Although it could never compare to American Idiot sentimentally, it can certainly compare sonically. The whole album is set out beautifully with such a charm. It has everything you could want from an album which is something so rare to find. With cinematic masterpieces such as the title track or American Eulogy, catchy songs like 'Last Of The American Girls'. 21CB is some of my favourite music ever ever made.
BEST: Last Of The American Girls
WORST: N/A
This scratches parts of my brain which I don't think can ever get scratched again. As a younger kid this was my first concept album and it truly is my concept album. Every song on here is perfect in my opinion if it's 9 minute rock ballads such as 'Jesus Of Suburbia' or 'Homecoming', if it's slow emotional songs like 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' or even cool songs such as 'Holiday' it has everything. And that is not even mentioning ... read more
This is a great project and I love that they did something different. It makes a difference to the harder sounding punk to a more soft acoustic pop punk feel. Songs like 'Church On Sunday' and 'Castaway' are arguably some of the bands best work to this date. However again I think it just lacks a certain charm.
BEST: Church On Sunday
WORST: Blood, Sex, Booze
This definitely feels more developed then previous projects but it lacks some charm in places. Nimrod has two of my favourite Green Day songs in 'Scattered' and 'Redundant'. No matter what I can't find the words to describe the feeling of watching the International Superhits DVD and hearing 'Redundant' then borrowing my brothers 'Nimrod' CD to go and listen to it 100 times over. Or it being Christmas time and being called down to help with the tree ... read more
The production on this album is very good, the step up from Dookie to here is great. This album certainly wasn't as successful as 'Dookie' and didn't have as many hits but don't take anything way from it. It's not just quick fast punk songs, there are some great songs with good substance such as 86 and Panic Song which both have deeper meaning.
BEST: 86
WORST: Tight Wad Hill
I can't explain how influential this album is to me as a person. One of the first Green Day albums I heard and I'm glad it was. Such a high energy it's almost impossible to replicate. Songs such as 'Having a Blast' and 'Coming Clean' are some of the best songs I have ever heard and there are absolutely no skips. Got to give props to my mum for giving e her original copy of this album on CD. Don't know what I would've done if I hadn't heard ... read more
This may have a high rating due to sentimental value but it takes nothing away from the music. I remember during lockdown my brother buying me this on CD and it just felt so true and raw. When I first heard '2000 Light Years Away' and read the lyrics I instantly fell in love. So this deserves the high rating I'm giving it.
BEST: One Of My Lies
WORST: Dominated Love Slave
Call this glaze all you want but this is honestly beautiful, quick fun dumb songs and they all overall give good vibes. Especially songs such as 'Going To Pasalacqua' or even underrated slow songs such as 'Rest'. However you can definitely tell that it is more a combination of early E.P's rather then a full-fledged studio album.
BEST: Going To Pasalacqua
WORST: 16
Such a beautiful e.p.
The only think preventing the 100 is the song lengths. Starts very quick paced with conflicting instrumentals which somehow all blend together so beautifully it's like magic. To end with a couple beautiful ambient slow well thought out songs.
This is the first 100 I have ever given.
This just scratches any itch I had ever had. From the discussion of such difficult and prominent worldwide issues to cool sax solos. JER have out done themselves entirely with an album I would call perfect. I do not see a drop off in quality during the whole project which is a rare site to see.
This has really made me rethink a lot of things which I don't think another album has ever done as much as DOTH.
Best: Silence Is Violence

Great little project. Short fun snappy songs are definitely her strong point as showcased through out. The production is also class which just makes the whole project sound nice to the ears. Great overall
Best: Noises
Worst: Girl Like Me
Decent album but it's nothing new. There's not many standout moments just a lot of decent ones with quite a lot of filler in-between. That being said he does have an excellent voice.
BEST: Bedroom Weather
WORST: Rigormortis
One word to sum up this project: boring.
SL doesn’t bring much to the table with his creation, with repetitive flows and beats boring enough to infuriate God himself.
The second track was decent but I didn’t even finish the album due to it being so boring.
This is amazing.
Now, kwes doesn’t exactly blend genres or come up with some big new trend, but he takes what already is there and does it better then anyone else.
The flow kwes keeps throughout the project is insane. Along with great beat selection and features to create an amazing listening experience
BEST: addicted to divas
WORST: 7am
Beautiful album.
This is a minful album, it is ambient it either makes you think or not think at all. The range of instruments heard throughout are second to none, and the production on this project I don’t think can be matched.
You play this for your average Joe and ask them to find a fault, they won’t be able to. It is perfect
BEST: Last Of England
WORST: ?
