I wasn’t a fan of the artist’s confessionalism (I couldnt find a better word) outside the album, especially regarding trauma and similar topics. For me, a work of art should stand on its own and not require additional explanation. Unique alt-guitar pop and electronica / trip-hop sound. Reminds me of PJ Harvey, Portishead, New Order, something like this. No clue why nobody listens to this. Its great! Give these two Irish artists a chance!
just really well produced and well written pop! nothing special, but exactly what I want from pop music!
You can say what you want, but this is just boring. Of course there is nostalgia in this soundtrack and it works well as a soundtrack to this game. But to listen to this as a standalone musical experience is just nuts for me :D Im sorry..
I really Like the Deftones Songs (YOUtopia & liMOusIne) and the more Alt-Metal Songs (AmEN! & Kool-Aid). I dont like the Hyperpop stuff, too compressed for me. But my main issue is, that this LP has too little identity. Most of the songs sounds like something you already know (Underoath, Deaftones, MCR, ...). I will probably listen to the whole album sometime again, but especially in comparison to the other Post Human this is disappointing.
Probably one of the best pieces of music ever made and Currentzis did a phenomenal job to interpret this masterpiece!
Fun, groovy and political rock LP. Doesnt feel much punk from a todays perspective.
