Death - Symbolic
100

Symbolic is a truly magical metal album. It is greatly produced, it has awesome riffs, melodies, lyrics, drums. It is heavy yet melodic, catchy yet kinda quirky and experimental. This record is just perfect. Crystal Mountain, Symbolic, 1000 Eyes, Sacred Serenity, Perennial Quest and Without Judgement are some of the best metal songs ever. Well, I can probably say that about the whole album, really.

Aphex Twin - Collapse EP
80

This EP is pretty cool. It sounds both chaotic and relaxing somehow. The title track and Abundance are especially great.

Jeff Buckley - Grace
100

An absolutely wonderful, heartbreakingly beautiful, highly influential and incredibly produced piece of work. Songs like Grace, Mojo Pin, Hallelujah, Dream Brother and Eternal Life are some of the best ever.
I have to thank this album for influencing Parachutes and The Bends. Without this, those albums wouldn't have sounded the way they do.

The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow
70

It's a good finish for The Weeknd's career.
The production on this album is gorgeous most of the time, especially on tracks like Open Hearts and Timeless but there are some songs that have questionable production choices (São Paulo) or are just straight up not memorable (Red Terror).

Pixies - The Night the Zombies Came
60

In my opinion this album is their best since Trompe le Monde. I know it isn't saying much. Still, there are some really good tracks on The Night the Zombies Came, like Primrose, Chicken and Oyster Beds. It has mid songs too, like the title track or Motoroller but I think overall it is a step in the right direction for Pixies.

Travis Scott - 4X4
60

It's pretty good. The chorus is catchy but the mixing could be better.

Pixies - Doggerel
40

This is the worst Pixies album so far. There are no songs on this record that I like but it definitely has some of the most boring and annoying cuts out of the whole discography of this band (like The Lord Has Come Back Today, There's a Moon On and You're Such a Sadducee). Such a shame.

Pixies - Beneath the Eyrie
50

Another Pixies album that's not interesting. The first 3 tracks are quite cool but the rest is just fine. It doesn't have any bad songs though and In the Arms of Mrs. Mark of Cain is probably their best post-reunion opener.

Pixies - Head Carrier
50

It is as uninteresting as Indie Cindy. Sure, there are some tracks that are cool, like All I Think About Now or Baal's Back. Classic Masher is also far from a bad song. Still, almost any other track from this album is just okay.
At least there isn't a song as bad as Bagboy on this record.

Pixies - Indie Cindy
50

A significant drop in quality from their last album. Indie Cindy's tracks range from pretty great ones like the opener or Magdalena to some pretty underwhelming cuts like Bagboy or Andro Queen. Snakes definitely sounds better live.

Pixies - Trompe le Monde
80

It's a great album that has lots of energy and many awesome songs.
Best tracks: Trompe le Monde, Planet of Sound, Alec Eiffel, Head On, Letter to Memphis, Space, Motorway to Roswell
Worst tracks: Distance Equals Rate Times Time (still not bad)

Pixies - Bossanova
80

This album a lot softer and less crazy than their first two but it's still a great record.
All time favourites: Velouria, The Happening
Other bangers: Cecilia Ann, Allison, Is She Weird, Ana, All Over the World, Dig for Fire, Hang Wire, Stormy Weather, Havalina
Worst tracks: -
decent 8/10

80

There are some amazing and quite revolutionary ideas in this album and overall it is a very enjoyable and fun experience.
All timers: Where Is My Mind?, Gigantic
Other great songs: Bone Machine, Cactus, Break My Body, River Euphrates, Vamos, Something Against You, Tony's Theme, Broken Face, Oh My Golly!
Worst tracks: all r good

Pixies - Come on Pilgrim
80

This is a really good and fun EP.
Best tracks: Caribou, Vamos, The Holiday Song
Worst tracks: all are good

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
80

This is one is goddamn great. So many bangers, the production is amazing. This album has some of the best songs Kendrick's ever written (although some tracks are not great). Overall this might be his best since TPAB.
8 MUSTAAAAAAARDS out of 10.
All timers: Reincarnated
Other great tracks: Wacced Out Murals, Squabble Up, Luther, Man at the Garden, Hey Now, TV Off, Heart Pt. 6, Gloria
Least favourite tracks: Peekaboo (still not bad)

David Bowie - The Next Day
70

Such a good album. The songwriting is really nice but the production could've been better.
Best tracks: The Next Day, The Stars, Valentine's Day, Set the World on Fire
Worst track: Dancing Out in Space (still not bad)

David Bowie - Reality
70

It's a really good album with some interesting ideas. I like it more than Heathen.
Best tracks: Bring Me the Disco King, New Killer Star, Pablo Picasso
Worst tracks: Fall Dog Bombs the Moon (still not bad)

Depeche Mode - Violator
100

This is the sweetest perfection. Violator is the album that Depeche Mode was destined to make and it’s just flawless. From rich and grand, sometimes haunting production to caustic but catchy melodies and vocal harmonies. It has songs like World in My Eyes, Personal Jesus, Policy of Truth, Clean, Halo which have become fan favorites and all-time classics. And of course, Enjoy the Silence, a song that can be crowned as one of the most transcendental and soothing pop songs ever. It happens ... read more
