Kendrick Lamar - GNX
81

An album that just isn’t Kendrick enough for me. This seems like more of a victory lap against Drake than an album. Half the songs feature some random no name artists, and Kendrick is missing that GKMC / TPAB energy, this isn’t a bad album, it’s just bad by Kendrick standards.

Tom MacDonald & Adam Calhoun - The Brave II
0

This is the one album ever released that I can rightfully regard as a zero. I’m not the most politically correct person. But this thing is: 1. Racist, 2. Sexist, 3. Transphobic, 4. Xenophobic, 5. Ignorant, 6. Full of crappy songs. This makes Jesus weep. This album is literally the lowest humanity has ever gone. Tom Macdonald and Adam Calhoun should be burned at the stake for this horrendous piece of garbage. This is like spending the rest of your life rotting in a prison cell. I have ... read more

Kanye West - JESUS IS KING
48

Look, I respect Kanye for trying his hardest to make a gospel album but this is just not it. This project has so many filler songs for such a short tracklist, and the lyrics are not awesome, only album worse than this is VULTURES 2!

Drake - For All The Dogs
60

Drake serves us another album which is the definition of mediocrity. Not only has his sound gone stale. The second half of the album is bland. This is like eating white bread with rice. Boring, boring, boring. I’ve never seen an album that is carried so hard by features!

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
97

One of the best rap albums of the 2020s, Scaring the Hoes scares the hoes and much more. It has great lyrics, amazing production and mixing, and JPEG does what he does best. Though Danny Brown is solid, he gets bodied by Peggy on most of the songs. Great album though!

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES: DLC PACK
61

This album does its job, just nothing more. It is an intro pack to Scaring the Hoes and it does a decent job at that. The issue is, there’s so little on this album that differentiates it from the full length LP, that it doesn’t really serve too much of a purpose. The cover art is good.

Ken Carson - A Great Chaos
41

Another extremely, mind-numbing boring project from Playboi Carti’s opium label. There are songs that are better than what is on X and Project X, but not by a whole lot, this album has redeeming qualities in “ss” and “overseas” but it still sucks!

¥$ - VULTURES 2
28

What can I even say, how has the man who made projects such as Graduation and MBDTF become a meme. Making an album so bad, that it has a song that is carried by a verse from fucking Yuno Miles. This may be the worst Kanye album ever. I’m praying BULLY’s going to be better than this piece of literal crap.

Tones And I - Welcome To The Madhouse
11

Though it may not be as bad as some projects (Total Xanarchy and The Big Day), this Tones and I record is still a chore to get through and has less inventiveness than something Ken Carson would cook up in 2021. This album is horrendous, and it has nearly 0 redeeming qualities….

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

One of the only albums (if not the only one) that can be labeled as a perfect 100. This album is a masterpiece and as Anthony Fantano said, it is a benchmark in musical history, somehow this album has not been heard by everyone on Earth!

PARTYNEXTDOOR - $ome $exy $ongs 4 U
50

Drake has stooped to a whole new low I never thought anyone other than Kanye West could reach. He and PND have made an album that is 90% made for white moms to listen to the clean versions when driving their kids to school, nothing sexy about these songs!

70

Wow, just wow. I can’t believe that giving a Kanye album a 70 is being extremely over rated or a hot take. Is this what we have come to, honestly, this album, unlike its sequel is actually quite solid. Sadly, it is still Kanye’s third worst album. WOW, how disappointing!

Mac Miller - GO:OD AM
95

This album is one of the best made in the mid 2010s: I completely believe that if TPAB was not such a masterpiece, that GO:OD AM would have won the Grammy that year, I judge albums very harshly, but this one is too beautiful not to enjoy!

Lil Baby - WHAM
25

To think that there are people who actually getting excited for Lil Baby, Gunna, or Lil Durk’s latest mid as shit album will always blow me away. I’ve heard bad albums before. But this is boring. This is something you would have to listen to in detention.

XXXTENTACION - 17
67

I don’t know why, but no matter how much I try to deny that I like this album, I still keep coming back to it. There’s something about Xs sound on it that is just so beautiful, this is miles and miles clear of ?. And that is undeniable.

Denzel Curry - TA13OO
88

This album is one that is very hard to describe. Denzel is one of my favorites artists of all time and I was glad when this was released but at the same time, he’s done so much better work than this, that it is his third best album (behind Imperial and MMESYF).

XXXTENTACION - ?
34

I know this album is regarded as “sixth grader music” or whatever. But I believe that X does have the capacity to make a solid album. Sadly in the time he was alive he never let these skills bloom, and that’s why this album is extremely boring, bloated, and overrated

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata
75

Though this album does have immense lyrical content, this aspect really causes more problems than it solves, as the album begins to feel boring after a second or third listen, and shockingly, Freddie Gibbs starts to sound kind of repetitive, not his or Madlib’s best work.

Steve Lacy - The Lo-Fis
80

A strange album by a strange artist, Steve Lacy delivered an album that I truly don’t know where I stand on. Either it is a masterpiece or garbage. I’m hoping it’s the former, but it may be the latter.
