The entire album hits but it's really repetitive apart from FIRE which is also the best song on this project, and honestly one of midwxst's best songs ever.
Best: FIRE
Worst: SICARIOS
I can't give this an 7/10 because of heartless 😠I'm sorry Denzel that song is terrible.
Best: Zeltron 6 Billion
Worst: Heartless
This album is really good, but its replayability is very dependent on how you are feeling. Lots of song to rage to and a few to vibe to as well.
Best: SIRENS (Not even close, top 1 Zel and a perfect song)
Worst: MAD I GOT IT
Solid, very consistent. One of the better southern rap projects of the past few years.
Best: WISH, P.A.T.
Worst: Automatic
Woah. This album his hauntingly beautiful. Someone suggested me to start listening to Quadeca back when Scrapyard released in 2024, and branch out from my exclusively rap music taste and I can't thank them enough. The entire album is so emotional and really impacts you on a personal level.
Best: fractions of infinity
Worst: the memories we lost in translation (doesn't really count as it's sorta an interlude and there is no bad songs on this)
Denzel why 😠this album was good but the remixes ruined it, taking aggressive vocals and putting them on more relaxed beats that don't fit, and the features were just not as good as I hoped.
Best: Lay Up ft. Jay Versace
Worst: Take it back godmode version (why does this exist)
Nice quick listen full of quirky, fun production and great bars by Denzel
Best: DIET
Worst Track07
Damn the deluxe actually better than the real album? I love the approach of the cold-blooded soul tracks. Chrome Hearts is a real underrated Denzel song too
Best: Walkin Cold-Blooded or Worst Comes to Worst Cold-Blooded
Worst: Troubles Cold-Blooded
Denzel's best album, a big switch up from most of his catalogue, a more introspective look into Denzel's mind.
Best: Melt Session #1, Walkin
Worst: The Smell of Death
The 5 new tracks sounded like they fit the vibe of the album well, but they aren't all to the same caliber as the originals.
Best (new track): Still in the Paint
Worst: Got Me Geeked
"Yeah, I used to smart-talk, but now I had to dumb it down" sums up the album. Straight bangers all the way through.
Best: Hot One, Black Flag Freestyle
Worst: Hit The Floor
Slightly better than Dicaprio 2 in my opinion, more consistent tracklist and some of JID's best melodic songs.
Best: Hereditary, NEVER, 8701
Worst: Underwear
Yes, it is an incredibly mid album, but there is no way almost all of the songs are rated this low. Some people are just blinded by Drake hate.
Best: Nokia
Worst: Meet Your Padre
This is a slept on JID project, the first half of the album is REALLY good but there is a steep drop-off after Workin Out
Best: Workin Out, Off Deez
Worst: Skrawberries, Just Da Other Day, Mounted Up
The best album of this decade and I don't know how it will be topped. Having 2007 to top it off just makes it better.
Best: 2007, Sistanem, Kody Blu 31, Can't Punk Me
Worst: Just in Time
I was disappointed by the deluxe, some of the songs not used on the main album for an obvious reason. Also the intro is terrible now.
Best (on deluxe): i lay down my life for you or Boy You Should Know!
Worst: definitely I.S. 231, HATE or TAKE AN if we are taking a real song
This might be glaze
Best: Wesley's Theory, u, or Mortal Man
Worst: Hood Politics
Something about Peggy's production is just so satisfying, whether it be with guitar beats, such as the intro track, or with his crazy sampling, such as either on or off the drugs. Definitely a top 3 album of 2024.
Best: either on or off the drugs
Worst: loop it and leave it or vulgar display of power (not bad songs its just hard to pick)
Lone, Borealis by detahjae is just the start of an amazing career and I'm almost certain about it. Although, yes, many people say he is just another Tyler clone, he has already asserted himself as a unique character through the storytelling on this album. Lone, Borealis is a fictional place located on Saturn's moon Titan, and this project shows detahjae, and his trusty robot Sal's journey to get there after being heartbroken by Janice.
