For being 90s RHCP without John Frusciante, this album is still pretty solid. Dave Navarro makes it sound a lot like a Jane's Addiction record, but in a way it almost kind of works. Both bands' styles merge pretty well together

When I first listened to Illmatic, this song blew me away. I was smiling and bopping my head so hard to this shit. It was an ethereal experience and I'll never forget it, easily the best song on Illmatic with the best samples and possbily Nas' best flow. It ain't hard to tell it's an absolute classic

I genuinely don’t have words for this. This album is music born from so much pain and insufferable agony, it’s impossible to recreate if you haven’t encountered such mental or physical trauma.
