Guiding Shite aside, I love this album, it's Muse! Exogenesis is incredible, but I feel it was executed quite poorly. It should be longer, by the time I've reached part 3 I hardly feel like I've earned that bittersweet symphony. Plus the rest of the album could do a better job at building up to that point in my opinion.
This album is an absolute breath of fresh air. After the more aggressive britpop era, having a more 'pleasant' album that's still packed with great guitar parts is appreciated.
This is the only album that features Oasis as a trio: The Gallaghers and Alan White. Guigsy and Bonehead left in 1999, Gem and Andy joined after recording was finished.
