One of the most sobering albums I’ve heard in a while

I’ve actually heard some Bon Iver before this but it was on Lost in the World (incredibly underrated track btw) which is very very different from this, especially since his voice is heavily attuned on Lost in the World. Oh my god this is some of the most beautiful metal I’ve ever heard. I think this is sort of the inverse to white pony. Where I thought the track-list was very back heavy on that one this is very front heavy. That is with the exception of the absolutely incredible Rosemary which is genuinely one of the most transcendent metal songs ever made. Possibly even the best Deftones song. Also this cover is sexy as FUCK
