there r like, 5 songs i return to. also, i know we clowned on drake for ghosts writers, but please bring them back, this album had some of the worst lyrics ive ever heard
this was such a nice experience, this album's vibe alone gains it this score
edit (78 -> 75): it's not as good as Little Dark Age, tho still bangin
i feel like my rating on this probably explains my relationship status fairly well...
this is a solid album, i like the psychedelic atmosphere. some parts feel a little disjointed, and some tracks I dont come back to. but that is made up with by Mac's wordplay and his more emotional cuts
fun album experience, i like the funkiness. some of the goofy lyrics just dont sit with me right for some reason, and a lot of the tracks arent in my rotation. still a great album, nonetheless
pretty fun album, has a lot of fun tracks, and some of the emotional moments hit even deeper after his passing. Perfect Circle / God Speed hits like a freight train after his passing. overall, pretty solid album
this album tells an incredible and unique story throughout, with incredible production. also that fractions of infinity is so under rated, that song puts me into another dimension. that could be said about a lot of this album though. Good job Quadiddlydo
this album has some really fun tracks, and some even funnier lyrics. i went into this wanting a fun time, and i got that (other then a few songs that didn't stick with me)
edit 70 -> 75
i also under rated this thugger project, oopsies
very minimal instrumental landscapes, yet so many variation in songs. now there r some songs taht sound very similar that i dont come back to, but whether he is delivering a fun upbeat song like Stick Season or Homesick, or a sad mellow track such as Orange Juice or Halloween, Noah Kahan shows potential to continue to grow, if only he would stop dropping remixes and just drop a new project...
edit: nvm this is Album of the Decade contender, i have come to realize this is all bangers, all lyrically amazing, and his flows could cure cancer or smthn idk this is crazy
wow. i was late to listen to this album, but im so grateful. this is incredible. the addition of 2007 was the icing on the cake, and that is one of my favorite tracks. whether JID is over a hard trap beat, or a more lowkey beat, he manages to spit with unique flows and meaningful lyrics, so much replay value. also Kody ... read more
nice blend of jazzy production and trap production throughout, along with some incredible lyrics. melt session 1 brought me into the album, and the ills felt like a conclusive closer (kinda redundent, but whatever). a few tracks i dont come back to often, but the ones i do are in heavy rotation, so very cool
originally it didnt stick with me much, but as tiem goes on, that songs stick with me more, and i find great replay value in this tracklist.
good moody r&b, great mix of upbeat and slower tracks, very cool Brent Faiyaz
solid album front to back, i like the sound and feeling this album gives, very cool. it gives me a few frank songs to listen to when i dont wanna cry, so that is awesome, great mix of fun and moody tracks
originally loved this album, but a lot of it fell either demo-ish or just faded from any of my rotation
it feels sinful for me to rate this so low. idk not a ton of songs clicked with me, i am still trying to get into DOOM's catalog, maybe this rating will change
edit 70->89
wow I relistened and it all clicked, this was an amazing album, very cohesive, and DOOM goes off
good album, not many standouts, but not any mid either, just kinda good, yk?
its really good, i understand the love. this one just didn't click with me as well as everyone else
edit: nevermind idk what I was in, this album is goated
