super fun, Young Truly Humble Under God truly brings his personality out here
edit 65 -> 70
i under rated this album, my bad
what could i say about this album that hasnt already been said...
funny enough i like the sound of this album more than Freudian. however, a lot of the tracks, despite being so good, i dont come back to too often
edit: ok, I have an issue with this album. Daniel always has an amazing performance, and some of these songs are literally masterpieces. but the other songs I low-key don't even remember. it's a great experience, and it wouldve had a higher score, if only not for being slightly unmemorable
its really solid work, just a little too long winded for me. like could he have not just released like 2 or 3 separate projects with these tracks, if he did that they would all rank much higher
delivers some cool pop tunes, but for being so short, some songs felt very unmemorable
i feel like people like this a lot more than i did, still great album though
edit: ok I understand the album now, this is a pretty good album, even tho I'll probably not revisit anytime soon
i dont know why, but this just didn't stick with me like WYWH or DSOTM, and i wanted it to so bad
this is his best mixtape in my opinion. the dark atmosphere throughout is just, oh my i love it so
after relisten, Initiation is so creepy bro why did he write this song ðŸ˜
some of the experimentation i wasnt a huge fan of, but still a solid mixtape for an up and coming artist
for being his first project, this is nuts, also Wicked Games is still one of his best songs to date
edit: so after further review this is one of the best rnb albums I've ever heard. the consistency in the tracklist, for being only 9 songs he makes a hell of a run
this project is awesome, so much chemistry, and the soundscape is incredible
just the meaning behind this album and the title track alone earn it the spot of his best project.
