I was expecting it to be worse this album is mad overrated. like yeah it's def got some bad songs but it's highs are some all time highs in his whole discography. I guess it's main downfall is it's inconsistency
this was a pretty good album by Zach Bryan, and while I still like his self titled more, this still has some incredible and emotional songs with some new production techniques he tries out (they land pretty well too)
this was quite a mixed bag, it's highlights were pretty good, but it's lows were boring and forgettable. pretty mid, I'm disappointed in u Future...
while this album had some duds imo, it's highlights we're very strong, and the influence this had on the future of drill cannot be understated. bang bang
this mixtape to me felt very inconsistent. there would be incredible highlights and some of Travis Scott's best songs ever like DYSTI and Skyfall, but then there would be songs like Zombies and Quintana Pt2 that I just didn't really like too much. I def see the potential, but as a predecessor, I wish I kept more songs...
this is an psychedelic dream. the production is incredible, and this dou has a lot of chemistry that was unexpected. James Blake did incredible on every song, and while less consistent, Lil Yachty also performed well. amazing album, tho I'll say I prefer Let's Start Here over this, still amazing tho. Lil Yachty's come back needs to be studied.
I had a memory of this album being mid, but I wanted to relistens. honestly it's pretty good, a lot of songs aren't great, but there r some incredible bangers, especially in the beginning and the end. pretty good collab album
he really came to goon, huh?
I went into this with high hopes and I'm happy, Don Toliver actually delivered. I knew he didn't have a good rep with albums but this did not disappoint. a few songs that felt like masterpieces, and a very low ratio of duds. I even kinda liked the Kodak song, and I'm not a big Kodak fan. good range of bangers to slower songs, very cool Don, I'm proud of u
edit - lowkey im not the biggest fan of the last disk, but its not bad. im here to say ... read more
how have I not rates this album already? I love this album, every song is a classic. I tried to compare this to the 2nd one to decide score but they are both so amazing, I think both are on par. I just miss the old Cudi man :(
honestly I'm kinda disappointed. I've heard mixed reviews for this album but after listening, it's just mid. a lot of skips, and there wasn't a song that even really blew me away. kinda a dud for Travis, especially because of how good all 3 of his other main albums are.
pretty cool, sounds very much like a mixtape, which was the sound it was going for. a few songs were kind of boring, however most were pretty cool, and rocky stays consistent. the tracklist did feel long winded, however that is because I was unaware I was listening to the deluxe. the original tracklist has the better songs anyways, so my that only raises my score
I really liked this album, I feel like the first half was much better then the second half, but it was consistent and didn't have any skips, and the highs were quite high.
edit: nevermind this is better then I initially thought, there r so many bangers. 2nd half is still worse imo
this was cool, it had quite a few highs that were great, especially in the 2nd half, but some songs drug on a little top long imo, still good tho
bro this is such a good album, this is my aoty rn, and will probably stay a contender for a while. Vince Staples is so under rated and he is so consistent. also Etouffee is a HEATER
edit: the more I listened to the project, the more I realized this project is on par quality wise with Big Fish Theory, and while I still prefer BFT, the consistency of the great writing and great performances along with great production throughout makes this my AOTY as of late November
this album is basically the weeknd trying to do pop, which a lot of the time does work. the big hits that everyone knows from this album are amazing, and so are a few other sleeper tracks. but there are certain occassions where I feel like the weeknds voice are dark atmosphere doesn't fit the track instrumental, or just certain devious I didn't like. overall I still thought it was good, just his weakest project I've listened to
this is just a fun listen, thing you chief sosa. this is my first chief keef project, and it was filled with some bangers, nothing crazy or groundbreaking, but just banger after banger.
pretty solid, and while there was no real concept and was mainly just bangers, they were good bangers, and it was very consistent. nice one jid
I appreciate the experimentation on certain songs. just sometimes the vocal delivery doesn't work on certain songs which sucks because I love a lot of the beats. the album is 50% heat and 50% not very great, and my favorite songs were the ones that reminded me of Die Lit. maybe my score is just so low bc of how much I loved Die Lit...
edit: yeah im not changing my rating, mainly because i only listen to less then half of the songs on this album. i can appreciate the movement, but this ... read more
look this diss actually scared me for kendricks sake, thats how good this was. lucky for me, kendrick pressed the red button 30 minutes later...
