Future - MIXTAPE PLUTO
50

this is the definition of mid, although why is bro just moaning on Plutoski 😭😭😭 bro got the Diddy feature on the album with that. other then that, a couple of ight tracks here and there, but just boring and some songs just poorly mixed

Vince Staples - Summertime '06
72

this album is pretty solid, especially for a first album. a little long, especially for Vince standards, but it was solid. Vince really is so underrated considering his sheer consistency

The Weeknd - Dancing In The Flames
85

we are SO back

bro I went on the Weeknd subreddit and everyone is so disappointed like this WASNT a banger like r u trippin. low-key the live version was more epic, but this one still HITS

DJ Esco - 56 Nights
65

this mixtape has some of futures best material with March Madness. but it also has songs like now which may be one of my least favorite futures songs low-key ever. a mixed bag, but it was a cool short listen

The Weeknd - My Dear Melancholy,
73

this has some really good tracks, but is just too short for me. bro was sad tho

A$AP Rocky - Ruby Rosary
85

hyped for new asap album, j Cole snapped ngl

Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered.
75

this was pretty cool for some b- sides, definitely his weakest project imo tho, but again, it was more a compilation

Post Malone - F-1 Trillion
45

ok, so first off, I feel ppl are judging this too harshly, as Post Malone has never been one to have incredible artist integrity, he is a pop artist just having fun. it felt like this album was him just getting yo meet and make music with his icons, and thats ok. there were a couple good songs, but in my opinion, the best ones were the solo songs, because each of the feature songs sounded the exact same, and very generic. I got about 4 songs from this 18 song project, and it was quite a boring ... read more

21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin - Without Warning
75

Halloween type beat, pretty solid ngl, I had lower expectations but it was a spooky 30 minutes, so I can't complain

Childish Gambino - Because the Internet
68

it just kinda didn't age well sonically, there r some great moments tho, and I appreciate what Gambino did, I'm sure it was popping back last decade too

Don Toliver - Heaven Or Hell
67

this is ight, quite a few boring songs tho. a few absolute bangers tho

Logic - Ultra 85
80

ok but like, why was this actually so good

this was a trip for me, I used to be a huge logic fan back in middle school, as he was my intro to rap music. I used to be a big edm guy, and when collaborated with Marshmello, I realized I really liked the way his voice sounded, so I gave him a listen. 6 years later, I'm not a big fan of either artist, and I know Logic has his share of ups and downs, however, I saw the reviews and was wondering how this album could possibly be THAT good

it was ... read more

Chance the Rapper - Coloring Book
79

i had listened to this album a long, long time ago after hearing his verse on Ultralight Beam, and i just decided to revisit it. while my revisit wasn't a full listen through, it was more of reminding myself of the songs i didnt remember, this album has some very high highs. chance is the most kanye-prodigy person kanye has worked with, he understands how to use features and the gospel sound to his advantage. while some songs did not land as well with some of chances out of tune singing, ... read more

Logic - Bobby Tarantino III
20

ok so I used to be a huge Logic fan, and seeing that he finally dropped Ultra 85 made me wanna relook at some of his albums to find the songs I used to jam to. I forgot most of them, except this album, because I just remember how bad these songs were, and just forgettable. like this was bad... especially cuz back in middle school I loved the Bobby Tarantino mixtapes, so when this dropped I was so hyped. I used to really like God Might Judge, but that's just like a more freaky Kanye song. I ... read more

Clairo - Charm

boys liked the Eminem album, men liked this album. I know I'm late to listen, but I've heard so many good things, and I've been on a 15 hour trip and so I figured I'd listen, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was scared I'd get bored with the voice, but if anything, it got better because the instrumentation progressed as it went on. while this definitely is not my genre, this is rly good, and I'll probably be revisiting for studying and such

Laufey - Typical of Me
75

this album is not my genre, but I'm ngl, I dig this, may listen to more of this jazzy chill pop for studying ngl, laufey has a great voice and production was very nice, may have found a new discography to dive into

A$AP Rocky - LIVE.LOVE.A$AP
81

this is a very good mixtape, I really like this, and it's pretty solid. the sound feels kind of old, but for the sound it's very solid

JPEGMAFIA - LP! (Offline Version)
86

so I originally listened to the online version, just because I didn't like how the titles on Spotify each specified that it was the offline version. this version is better tho, very solid overall, with very few complaints. I don't even listen to Peggy like that (some of y'all on this website all up on this man), but I rly do like this project

JID - The Never Story
80

this is a pretty good album, I like it JID, I'm really hoping that he drops soon (hopefully the Metro album 🤞)

On Cordae - The Crossroads
"yeah I mean I wouldn't say Logic is always corny, tho as someone who uses to listen to him religiously in middle school, he can be a cornball, especially when he is ripping off other rappers (ex: the entirety of Everybody or CODM) I'll look into the Cordae album, thanks for the recommendation"
