this is like Vultures 1 except it's targeted at minors ðŸ˜
ok on a real note tho, I tried to listen to this album disregarding all of the drake stuff in the news about the beef and the allegations, but I couldn't, because he kept bringing it up. going from "drop Kendrick I dare you" to saying "f a rap beef" just makes drake look like such a sore loser
but is the music at least good? no. not one bit it's so boring, beats are basic and all sound the same, ... read more
I saw this Collab and was shocked that this exists, I had to listen to 2 Chainz x Alchemist, and honestly it was pretty good. my only issue was that it kinda got stale due to a lack of any sort of subject matter, lyrics were very plain. production was amazing tho, very chill, good study music ngl
I'm completely rewriting my review after I have listened to this album and feel like I have gotten and understood it's narrative. this is an incredible send off album. this somehow beats After Hours in cinematic value, with each song taking me on a journey. after doing my own investigation on the lyrics and themes, this album feels like an extended journey of Abel having to choose between the light, aka heaven, and the darkness, aka his persona of The Weeknd. I think this was a great ... read more
I am starting to see why OutKast is the best hip hop duo in history. these guys were on different timing. whether it's a more meaningful track like da art of storytelling, to just making a banger like skew it on the bar-b, this album has so many amazing songs. even Mamacita is over hated, it kinda goes hard imo. only reason this isn't higher is the length. despite it being all quality, I don't know how often I will sit thru this album just because it is a commitment. still, one ... read more
I realized that I needed to finish the Weeknds discography before I listened to Hurry Up Tomorrow, and this was the last album I hadn't heard. I think this was just way too freaky for me, there were a couple good songs but most was just way too freaky for me, and that's saying a lot for the Weeknds music. makes sense with how the Kissland tour went tho, that was weird of him to do...
this was just mid for thug and future, it felt like every song where thug popped off future did mid and vice versa. they had great chemistry, I just wish this wasn't so phoned in, it could've been incredible
in comparison to the other Mike Dimes I've heard I think this album was mixed better, but I preferred the sound and performances on Texas Boy. that being said, this album was more consistent, but I think I may prefer it slightly less then his other project. May just be the lack of features tbh, that would've brought more life. also, this track isn't on the album technically, but the Home Remix with JID is probably Dimes' best track
this is a super fun mixtape, you can hear his youthfulness and joy. im so sad I wasn't able to discover Mac in this era, but it's so cool how even before his eventual progression to making amazing pieces of art, even his frat raps were very fun and still good. rip Mac
this was fun, and has a lot of replayable songs. all the beats felt so goofy. I will say sometimes it got a lil boring, but this is also his breakout mixtape, so like, pretty good
this album was really really good, i didnt know much Mike Dimes prior, but he lowkey maybe my favorite rapper out of Texas right now (other then like travis and all the big ones). only 2 issues keep this from being higher. one, some songs felt unnecessary, and two, the mixing was awful on some tracks. also, what was that hoodlum feature man. all the other features snapped tho. either way, Mike Dimes is super under rated, hopefully he gets a new engineer and maybe tries to expand a little more. ... read more
this was my first introduction to OutKast, I wanted to listen because I knew they were southern legends, and after this album, I can understand why. even if this style is not my main style of music, I thought it was very consistent and incredible. I can appreciate what they did, whether it was a more egotistical song, to one talking about serious topics, both Andre and Big Boi handle it very well, and I will be visiting more OutKast in the future
this album has a lot of peak thugger bangers, but also has some mid. I think if Young Thug has a good executive producer, he could definitely make a top 10 trap album, but his albums always have both bangers and misses, but the bangers hit hard
I was looking forward to checking out what Kenny Mason had to offer, since I love a lot of his features, however, it felt like he had better features then performances on here. he had some great production, but my 2 problems were A) the mixing on certain songs was dookie, and B) his performances a lot of the time felt lack luster. I was hoping that Kenny Mason would live up to the hype for me, but tbh I don't think I will revisit too many songs
first off, rest in peace Mac Miller man, he is one of the few artists where the "legend" and "gone too soon" status are understatements, and this album is exactly why
this album recorded over 10 years ago is some of his best work. Djs Chord Organ is amazing and Macs part feels like ghostly cry outs from the grave, Funny Papers may be a top 3 Mac song of all time, Manakins hits differently posthumous, and Ricks Piano is super uplifting yet mellow.
even if this did drop in ... read more
I'm not gonna lie, I am a little shocked at how consistent this is. I really like his voice, but I listened to his previous project and it was not something I revisited too often, just because it felt a little bare. this album was much different
first off, the fact that there is actually a theme that is semi-noticable is crazy to me, as I didn't see BigX being the type of rapper to put thought like that into an album. not only that, but he will on occasion switch up the flow, and ... read more

I'm docking a few points already because WHY IS THIS A DELUXE??? 15 tracks is more then Ctrl, and SOS was already way too long. other than that, this is cool. honestly, some of the instrumentals and songs bored me, and didn't have much to them. that being said, sza still does great as usual, but a lot of the songs just don't progress at all. I'm slightly disappointed, but I also know that it could be a lot worse, as each song is still ... read more
this was a really good album, especially for its length. I really liked the soundscape of this album, I prefer it over Ctrl. some of the songs are amazing amazing, and def has some highlights of her career, this album would be much higher if it wasn't so long tho. while most of it was good, it would've gone up to like a 90 if it wasnt 23 tracks bruh
low-key I'm kinda disappointed, I was excited that smino was dropping. I loved luv 4 rent, and it was a favorite of mine off of first listen. this album just felt like he played it really... safe... can you even say that for someone like smino tho? idk. it just felt very basic, and while there wasn't anything bad, a lot of it just didn't feel super memorable, which sucks because I was hopeful for this project
I was having trouble rating this album, originally it didn't feel too special but after revisiting some of the songs like immediately I realized this album is amazing. I only realized this when comparing to the other rnb albums I've reviewed and realized it was on par or better then many of the ones I rly liked. this is a really really amazing rnb album, I think what threw me off was I listened in the wrong environment. as I started to isolate the tracks, they all felt very very good. ... read more
really solid album, full of straight bangers. only wish it was longer. some of the chorus are so catchy, like on Ricky and Wish. and the beats are fun, not to mention Denzel's consistently fire rapping. can this man miss?
