I'm ngl I was slightly disappointed. The sound was good and Laufey didn't do anything super wrong, it just felt slightly boring and the structure felt weird. the chorus was ok but it didn't feel very chorusy or standout, it kinda blended into the verse. I still have faith for the album tho

the soundscape on this project feels ahead of it's time, and is my favorite soundscape of any outkast project. only thing not putting this above Aquemini is certain tracks feeling like they didn't age too well, but those tracks were still great. I could see this rating going higher, but this has some of my favorite songs by the two

first half was incredible, very smooth, but second half felt to me like it dragged on a lil bit, maybe I just need a revisit but overall it was good, I understand the appeal

i was expecting something much similar to Discovery, incredible dance music to playlist and enjoy. that is not what this album was, but I still really enjoyed it. my only complaint is the length of the songs, a lot of them had amazing sound and themes but I couldn't really playlist them due to the 6-7 minute run time. this was also a very different sound to discovery, but I love this sound too. overall this was yet another reason for me to be less hateful to the French
