This sounds like store-bought Flockaveli with a lame Playboi Carti/Lil Yachty impersonation. The lyrics are surface level, and the tracks are boring as hell. Just go onto SoundCloud if you want to hear music like this.
I guess I liked the reference in the cover art, but that's all this has going for itself.

This is such a brilliant album that just perplexes me with how good it is. It's impressive that J Dilla was able to tell a story via only using samples, and the context of this album elevates the listening by a large amount. Even if you don't focus on the background, this is still a great listen. The fact that Dilla was able to make this whole album only with an SP-303 on his deathbed is beyond me.

This is one of my favourite mixtapes of all time. It may not be better than LIVE.LOVE.A$AP, but this is still a solid project.
I originally listened to the remastered version, and I think that the OG mix is better, because of certain tracks being a higher key and the Pinball sound effects appearing throughout each song like it's a DJ set.
