Compositionally it's good DBM. the problem is with the production/mixing, which unfortunately makes everything sound washed out.
this is a huge problem with DBM in general. DSO's 'The Synarchy of Molten Bones' or, more recently, Gorrch's 'Stillamentum' are examples of much better mixing, but even those aren't perfect.
What DBM artists should do is seek a mix similar to what Immolation has achieved in their recent albums 'Acts of God' or ... read more
album's like a blast from the past, some kind of dm you'd hear 20 years ago. very typical riffs, structure, composition. And guess what? It still works. refreshing in a way, just not forward thinking, but I'd def recommend this to someone new to dm as a solid intro done well with good sound
if Black Sabbath wrote their album "Black Sabbath" in 2026. it's pretty great: perfect production, and yeah the composition is basically early black sabbath. The first track "Red Rocking Chair" is an obvious homage to the title track on Black Sabbath's debut, and I think that's intentional.

awesome album, second half is much stronger than first half (which is already quite strong tbh)
CHRIST
DILLINGER
album is a little too tame for me BUT it's solid and C.D spits 🔥🔥🔥
some of the tunes are sick (playlist . ) but they need a singer. if they get a good singer could be great
best zoomercore since fishmonger?

overall good but uhhhh kinda boring at parts
production is on point here tho
Model/Actriz is brilliant, simple as.
A short write-up: They continue to innovate within their established style. This EP is like a compact version of one of their albums; a sensitive track sandwiched between two aggressively schizophrenic dance tracks. But it's not just a rehash of their early music; new techniques and soundscapes are explored and the pallet expands.
