its like throwing pieces of dirty blu-tack at a wall and 60% of those pieces sticking
songs are just long and aes doesn't really diverge from his style often. alright, but pretty overrated. maybe i just don't like real hip hop
while the albums loses consistency in the back end, the chemistry and charisma from venus and dot make this a very worthwile listen
it's nice, but nothing overly ground-breaking or anything. just pure chill vibes and nothing else
this saddens me because i really wanted to like this album. I do some parts, as there are some really high highs (Saturn Barz, ascension, strobelite, andromeda) but the lows are just pure trash (circle of friends, we got the power, hallaleujah money). Songs are either corny asf and overcompensating with trashy features or just purely boring with bland and sucky production. There are more moments that i liked on this than i didn't like but this is still a massive disappointment.
this album has a really interesting concept and soundscape. i thought the first song had some poor mixing and vocal toning, as did the first half of this album, but it really picked up in the second leg both in terms of penmanship and conceptuality. solid listen.
really grew on me. originally wasn't a fan of the format and delivery but after a few listens it has really stuck well with me. easily in my top 10 of the year
