This album was not just the biggest disappointment I’ve ever experienced, it also had nothing to offer and not a little bit of quality. It sounds like shit, Yungbluds singing is awful on some songs and my god the lyrics are so generic and cringey. I‘m probably one of the few people that have a soft spot for this shit. Is this filled with bad songs? Yes. Is it filled with cringy lines? Oh yes. Are some of the songs still entertaining? Yes.
I get why literally everyone hates this album. I hated it too when it came out, but with time passing I find myself coming back to songs like maybe, twin flame or 5150, which I actually enjoy. Watch the world burn feels like two Ideas poorly put together. One was a political rap song that sounds like it was made by Tom McDonald, but without the Racism. Some of the Lyrics are painfully cringe and the entire song fails at delivering outstanding lines that provoke me to think twice about them.
