Sza took her time but it was worth the wait.
Lana is what I wanted from a follow up to the amazing sos. it feels a bit more experimental, but it works in SZA favour.
Stand out tracks: “What Do I Do”, “BMF”, “Scorsese Baby Daddy”, “Chill Baby”, “Crybaby”, “Kitchen”, “Another Life”, “Saturn”
I loved preacher’s daughter one of my fave albums of all time.
However, don’t think the majority style of music she’s going for in this project is for me. Obviously would’ve loved to hear her voice more in the album, but that wasn’t her vision.
Standout Tracks: Punish, Amber Waves, Vacillator
Oh Halsey, I really hope you are getting better and sending you all my best wishes.
This may not be my fave Halsey album I understand it’s significant importance it is to her creating an album with as many genres as she can because it may have been the last album she ever made.
Not all the songs/genres are my cup of tea, but I loved the ongoing theme of life and death and finding something or someone to live for.

Tension was one of my fave albums of last year so to get a sequel to it was great!
Tension II has some really good tracks on it, but there are not on the same level as Tension, it does feel like a B Side album, but it’s a nice continuation to the Tension universe.
My Stand Out Songs: Lights Camera Action, Taboo, Someone For Me, Good As Gone, Kiss Bang Bang and Edge Of Midnight.
Brat has grown on me since I reviewed it and is one of my fave albums of this year and is Charli XCX’s Magnus Opus.
This collaboration version of the songs were amazing like Girl Is So Confusing with Lorde makes the song perfect. And other notable ones like Guess with Billie Eilish and Talk Talk with Troye Sivan.
The album as a whole is a lot more experimental, makes nearly all the songs sound like completely different songs. It is more for old school Charli XCX fans, I deffo prefer the ... read more
I adore Gaga so any new Gaga is great, even if it’s a Jazz album full of covers.
These reimagined versions are beautiful, and her voice shine but then it ever has before. The original songs are great, but the sand out is Happy Mistake, that song is one of Gaga’s best ballads and is a career highlight.
This is a nice surprise treat to hold us over till LG7 commences this month!!
