This isn’t the 0 fantano wants you to think it is. It’s still bad. I’ll just talk about the good stuff first. The title track is actually not bad. I kinda enjoy it. The live version does go kinda hard. Sugar youth is awesome. I like that fast punk sound. Meet me on the roof while generic is actually still good. Not great but good. Junkies on a highs overproduction actually works on this albeit with lame lyrics.
Now for all the bad. Fire ready aim is such a weak track in this ... read more
Gosh most of this album is an edging session with no end. A lot of the songs feel like they need that final chorus to bring it all in to make it sound at least decent but I guess he forgot his normal pills for this one cus he cant make a good ending chorus for the life of him.
The choruses are so bland in these. At least mask was catchy with the chorus. There is more wasted potential in choruses than modern Imagine Dragons which says A LOT.
Not to mention the verses are also extremely ... read more
There is two ways I can see this album. One is as a full listen in which this would be a one out of 10 or MAYBE a 0. However, I can also see it as individual songs which I can appreciate a lot more. 75 minutes of this album is not what I want to deal with. However, more songs become enjoyable on their own like Shoot Me Again and Sweet Amber. I can respect it as a metallica album. Also I kinda like the snare, The real problem is james with the crappiest karaoke singing I ever heard on a ... read more
I think the choruses are some of the best metal choruses in a minute. They have so much energy. The singer kinda has those punk rock vocals that can really make the chorus feel at its highest potential. That said, it wasnt as strong in the bonus tracks.
The synths and keys make this feel like doom music for some songs. Funny enough, mick gordon actually features in this in the title track.
Now I cant talk about a metal album without mentioning the drums and guitar. Honestly it just fits. ... read more
This album is just nothing short of amazing. With arms wide open is my favorite song ever. Some of the songs remind me of the Undertow tool era but more rock than metal. My favorites besides the first one are prolly higher and faceless man and what if. The vocals are super fitting to the music and give it that sense of uniqueness. This is cooking on another level.
While studying for my exam I put this album on to see if this was a good album. To sum it up, it is VERY good. Their absolutely ferocious hard edm, dubstep production mixed with some wonderful solos makes this a very fun listen. It especially doesn't get tiring considering this band has 3 vocalists - all of which are amazing singers and in the case of Henrick, screamers. Its just a wonderful fusion of Metalcore, EDM, ballads, rap, and monstrous hype and power. Also speaking as a drummer, ... read more
There are 9 songs on this album. One is an intro song setting the plot of the album and the one after is an instrumental starting the album for real. I like this instrumental. It isn't crazy long and it works. The first real song, Raise My Sword, is the most popular of the album and personally, while its not my number one spot, it is a great song. The voice of grievous cry tops this and has a beautiful and wonderful chorus, verse, and everything. Still not my favorite. We will get to that. ... read more
Hearing that the third scars on broadway album was gonna release had me hyped. I mean this is the system of a down guitarist. Also this would be the 3rd album in this bands discography (first one in 2008, 2nd in 2018). However, hearing it now….its ok. Some songs cook but others just suck. I still have hope if soad came back that they would make a great album but this is far from the masterful work Daron wrote for mesmerize which is my favorite album period. I wanna love this album so bad ... read more
Man this really is reminding me of starbound stories. Some of these songs are ridiculously good. Matter of fact, most of the album is ridiculously good. I also got heavily reminded of twilight force and then learned its cus they have the same guitarist. Lustre and Cup of Poison are my only issues as they arent as engaging as the rest. Fantastic listen tho.
This might fucking be the best fucking album I’ve ever fucking heard in my fucking life
I’d like to start off by mentioning the guy’s spotify bio: “Listening to my music on repeat will instantly make you happier and more attractive. It's true.” I mean adding on that it’s true and everything. How can you not just instantly agree with this stud muffin?
This is a rollercoaster. You have no way of predicting what happens. It’s all over the place. He ... read more
This took a while for me to get around to listening to because I kept forgetting. One day I remembered and WOW this album is peak. Just some crazy abstract hip hop with one of the best lyricists I have ever seen. Would absolutely recommend.
FYA is the only good song on here and I learned that was the song with peggy in the writing credits so I ain’t giving credit to bts.
This album is everything wrong with k-pop. Effortless music that feels like they are skin walking black rappers. They try to imitate so much that there is no identity on this album.
Hooligan is in the top 5 discussion for worst song I heard all year. Just the worst flow on the super beat. You might think the beat took effort but as someone who samples ... read more
Now this is how to do K-Pop. Yes western influence exists but I can expect that. I just want innovation on the work which this album delivers very well. I can respect ATEEZ for not being afraid to try and innovate cus it gave them an identity I kinda rock with.
Favorites are Cyberpunk, Guerilla, and The Ring
No this isnt a 67 joke. I genuinely think this.
I gotta say, this album does deliver using the last World EP’s sound. However I think the risks are not as successful as the first one. It is definitely doing stuff but some just do not work. Bouncy has a weird chipmunk vocal that just is not it. Definitely still a good album especially with Wake up.
A small 15 minute EP that does what it was meant to do: make a good sounding EP that gets me dancing at 1 AM in the bathroom. It’s nothing groundbreaking and it’s not even peak catchiness like paramore’s riot but it is still a great listen.
Catch Catch is my new guilty pleasure
A super delayed album finally reached us in big 2026. Stuff is likely gonna change so here is my review as of 3/28/2026 at 2:15 PM EST.
King is an amazing intro almost on par with Wake up Mr West into Heard Them Say. It only is lower because it ends quick.
This a must feels kinda generic but still a banger.
Father sounds great. The transitions are a little odd but it goes hard.
All the love is an unreal sound. The beat and the chorus are just wonderful.
North West did an amazing ... read more
While definitely a fall from the banger that is Red, I think it holds as a pretty fun album. It is pretty much all great except for the galaxy brain move to not just have one instrumental, not just have 2 instrumentals, but put them back to back. It just takes you out of the immersion in greatness that the past songs delivered. They are good instrumentals but are just ruined by how much of a slog it feels like. Red also has 2 instrumentals but the distance between the two makes it sound like ... read more
I wasn't fully into the first track at the beginning. However, as the album continued, I started seeing more and more shows of beautiful musicality that made me like this album more and more which led to me loving the first track. This album is phenomenal. My favorite of them is Medley Mode D. The way it slowly builds and then breaks out into the most beautiful chaos ever is something that needs to be talked about more. Somehow, he makes the absolute most out of 18 minutes. Track C is ... read more
Orlando and Jocelyn Flores are all that saves this. This album really is repetitive. It really feels like he did not have any lyrics for this album. The outro with EIGHT LINES somehow repeats TWO of them. It’s not like the lyrics are saying much either. “boohoo im depressed and stuff.” Just the most on-the-nose complaining and crying that is fighting against genre sadboy. Why is trippie redd on TWO stinkers? Its like when snoop dogg features on random stuff like that limp ... read more
Look it definitely has some funny lines. I wont deny that. However, this should NOT be 50 minutes. It feels like tracks blend in not just in the beats but in the lyrics too. A lot of these songs don’t say anything that surprise me save for occasional funny lines. They aren’t bad but it’s just forgettable. If I wanted a funny but good rap album, I would listen to sour soul. Just might be was a banger final track though.
