TWENTY MILLION WALKIN OUT THE COURTROOM SCREAMIN "BETTY WOO WOO!"
Breh. Travis heavily fell off with this, and it being his only Apple Music essential album is CRIMINAL, especially when ASTROWORLD and Rodeo exist. The only good part about goosebumps is Kendrick's verse, sdp interlude is insanely good, pick up the phone is alright, everything else is mid.
Re-reviewing this because I realized how wrong I was about this album. This IS the greatest trap album of all time. ASTROWORLD is a bit more inconsistent, so Rodeo is officially my number one Travis Scott album. Amazing. (90 -> 93)
I feel like that one gif if Dr Strange flying through space listening to this. Pretty late to write a review on it, but come on, it's a classic. Pink Floyd at its finest.
Overhated, and a great album from the Arctic Monkeys. It may not compare to their other stuff, but it's still a very good album.
Classic rock at its finest. Not only quality all around, but it’s very relistenable and applicable to any mood. Amazing album.
The hate on this album is not deserved. Compared to some of Kevin's other stuff, sure it may not be as good as something like Currents, but it's not trying to one-up it. This album has it's own style and own instrumentals, etc.. Great album.
Creep is so overplayed, pretty meh album overall. There is obviously much better from Radiohead.
Alternative rock at it's finest. Just is top 5 Radiohead song, and The Bends (name track) is a top 15. Criminally underrated album here, too.
Edit: The more I listen, the more I realize how good of album this is. I don't care what anyone says, there are no skips, and this is practically a perfect album. That being said, In Rainbows in better. 92 > 97
Practically a perfect album with futuristic synths and even better meaning and impact of each song. New Person, Same Old Mistakes is a top 5 Tame Impala song OAT.
My favorite Radiohead album. Only skip is House of Cards once you've listened to it 623736374 times, and maybe Reckoner. Otherwise, great emotional album with very varying themes.
This is an amazing album, and Paranoid Android is still my favorite Radiohead song, and one of my favorite songs OAT. The first half of this album is perfect, and then as soon as Fitter Happier comes on, I snooze until Climbing Up The Walls, and then the rest is good. That being said, this is still a great album with a great story. Amazing.
Edit: I keep coming back to this album and it gets better every time. The only bad song is Fitter Happier. Electioneering is goated. Amazing. 92 -> 94
Holy and industrial and self aware rock with beautiful transitions. It can’t get much better than this.
AMAZING production with great lyrics. JPEG’s best project by far. This album gave us a ton of good songs, and will continue to give us good songs as they marinate in their glory.
Great album with great production. I thought some of the lyrics were lackluster, but the production makes up for it, as well as having “on or off the drugs”, my favorite JPEG song.
Never expected this from an artist I had never heard of before. AMAZING production with AMAZING flows, lyrics match everywhere, and is extremely consistent. It gives me TPAB + JPEG and I’m all here for it, because jazz rap is the best rap.
My second favorite from Travis, bringing in elements from Rodeo, and those he used producing albums like Yeezus. Whether you like this album or not, you have to admit the first time listening to SKELETONS, you just begin floating.
