i wish it had a more clear focus and was sequenced a bit better but overall this is a good album. there are obviously clear standouts, such as anything d double e and kojey radical touch, but it’s real solid throughout.

downing pints. getting into fights. beefing the bouncers. waking up the next morning with a blasting headache to reflect upon the previous nights antics. alex turner perfectly encapsulates the drunken ennui of being a young brit.
i cant think of a more relatable album honestly.
the guitars here are attacking and angular and the drums punchy and frantic, creating this anxious adolescent energy which translates extremely well to the dance floor.
