"Art is sucking the life out of me"
You can really feel that he struggled to find the motivation to make this. This album is incredibly apathetic but not necessarily in a bad way. It's eerie and depressive and a surprisingly insightful look into the artists mind through this project's creation.
390
Pleasantly surprising

I'm so happy they're finally back and they're back with what is probably the best album they've ever put out
This album is dark and unsettling like most BOC albums but this album feels like a more direct critique of the current world. Almost a warning of sorts to humanity as we force ourselves into an inferno.
This dark tone builds throughout the whole album only to culminate in what is probably the group's happiest and most hopeful song they've ever released "You Retreat In Time And Space". Reminding us that hopefully everything will be okay.
This song rivals some of the group's best songs like Dayvan Cowboy or Music Is Math. Might even be there best, gives me real shivers.
I love this album. It's so impressive for BOC to come back after 13 years and release their magnum opus.
Highlights:
Prophecy at 1420 MHz

386
Wow I love this it's almost too much positive energy to bare.
I love indietronica and this is one of the most seemleess blends of the genre I've heard.
Most energetic album I've ever listened to probably
Trinket has some of the best production I've ever heard. Like I said it seamlessly blends the elements of indie rock and hyperpop into some of the most beautiful and engaging melodies to ever grace my ears. This shit is so awesome.
The score for this album is actually outrageously low imo this has potential to be the albumoftheyear.org for 2026
Also best album cover of the year so far no doubt
Highlights:
You're serious, aren't you?
lil qoo
BURNMATERIAL

Gao tf are you doing in this cover😭
381
He kind of brings it back towards the end but this is an abysmal performance from the peg.
My goat might be washed
380
Holy cunt
I cant believe she was almost in katseye.
She either would've saved them or been corrupted by the zucchini. This is the best outcome though
379
First album in a while (a month I think)

This might be ever so slightly more polished than the last album it's still more raw than almost everything that's been releasing recently
Noiselow is one of the most gut wrenching and emotional songs I've ever heard. I feel like Robin Callaway was on the brink of death when he recorded those screams. The last half of this track is one of my favourite moments in his whole discography.
Noisecapacity lives up to its name it's truly just noise to the absolute limit. Its short length makes for a highly compact but never ceasing ride into pure and absolute sound.
And then you get the song noiserenity which is easily the most beautiful and ethereal song he's ever put out. It takes you on a beautiful journey throughout its duration and being the longest on the album (almost a third of the entire album) it is the emotion climax and is sonically breathtaking.
What an incredible expierience holy shit dude. While this album is held back by the amount of Interlude tracks taking up about half the tracklist, it literally doesn't even matter because the main songs are so solid. Some of the highs on this album are higher than those of his last album "I saw an angel in the mirror" which is really really damn impressive I don't know how he can do this so consistently. I'm so excited for the next release.
I love you Robin Callaway
♡☆
Highlights:
Noiselow
Noisecapacity
Noiserenity
Noisehiraeth
Noisehigh

Holy moly
I don't use this word often bit this album is bonkers
This shit hits you right in the gut
"I saw an angel in the mirror (reprise)" is unbelievably good.
Ok so after sitting with this album for a while I've realised just how much of a masterpiece this. It's raw innovation, it's noise at its finest. The abrasive overwhelming sound of this album is like no other. The mixing is incredible, the melodies are genius and Robin's singing is genuinely impressive. This is something special. Robin Callaway is going to blow up and he deserves it.
Highlights:
I saw an angel in the mirror (reprise)
Seraphim ii
Skytamer
Dote
Wingsong
Scream into the clouds

This album is kinda generic but it has its highlights. His music is sounding completely different from how it used to so I'm happy that he's expanding. Though I wish he were expanding in a more creative way. It feels like he's falling into a generic pop star in a conan gray kind of way. (No conan shade, I love his new stuff)
I miss his old style actually. This feels kind of plain and lacking personality. Sweet tooth will always be my favourite of his because its the perfect mix of personal and polished.
A have a soft spot for him so I forgive him. He helped me through a lot when I was an angst teen.
Holy shit underscores produced sailboat that's crazy what?? That's such a crazy crossover
The second that song came on I thought damn Robin this sounds insane compared to your other songs you've gotten a lot better at producing. Then it was just turned out to be the goat herself underscores
365
Heart warming hyperpop indie rock
364
We are so back. I've been waiting for thus since the melodic blue made me an instant fan. This took way too long to come out comparing it to how good it is, like I think he could have made this in a year. Anyways its great I'm happy with what we got. Might just be his best album.
363
Awwww ally this album is awesome. I'm a little bit let down but I can't stay mad at you. This will definitely grow on me
362
Chills.
Part 2 and 3 are awe inspiring
361
The 2 deluxe and these 3 ambient tracks feel like a perfect closer to quads vanisher era. Super excited for whatever he has next for us, I know it's going to be generational
360
This score is definitely way too high but I absolutely LOVED this!!
358 (first album that released in 2026)
What a way to start the year. This is some of the groups best work ever.
357
Holy shit Holy shit Holy shit
Those last two tracks beat me up until I couldn't breath. Forever close my eyes is actually an unbelievable song. It's so touching and intensely emotional and also just beautiful.
356
This album has a super cool sound to it. The abrasive electro guitar sound that can be heard throughout the album is incredibly engaging but it sounds over polished at times.
355
Very different sound to what I expected but it was a good sound indeed
Highlights:
Skin and bone
Only for you
The arrow that killed the beast
Down in the canyon
354 (first of 2026)
It's so cool hearing the original ideas that grew to become one of the greatest albums ever made with wetdream. Super interesting and engaging listen
353 (last album of 2025)
This is the most country non country album I've heard.
Idk what this specific niche of singer songwriter this is but I love this phoebe bridgers, ally evenson porch light shit
352
These songs make me feel like such a loser, anyways they're great.
Except for best friend its kinda icky
351
I spent two hours on this bart simpson for nothing. No views I bet.
350
Those last 3 tracks are fucking awesome
349
Ghais man come on dude.
Its an improvement from the last EP but not by much. I don't want to say that he's fallen off but things aren't looking great
348
I did sadly fall asleep while listening to this so I didn't get the proper expierience.
Super decent album but man I really don't think that they ever made an album better than 0
347
This is actually the first Sufjan album I've listened to that hasn't made me cry
It kinda sounds like if Sufjan tried to make Nurture by Porter Robinson
Erm.... my life is like a video game??
Highlights:
Video game
Tell me you love me
America
Die happy
Make me an offer I can't refuse
Run away with me
346
Omg who told him about drums
345
This cat is so chill
I also don't want to get a job
Super relaxing and super immersive. Some incredible storytelling from this feline.
I.D.W.G.A.J is actually kinda crazy, it might just be my song of the year. meow meow meow
And this album ends incredibly strong
I take it back thus is not chill! This cat actually ended the whole world and had to move to Mars?! Wtf lausse? This albums story is so crazy
344
This is technically an EP so I guess I'm counting it for the list
These are some absolutely incredible songs made for one if the better movies I've ever seen.
Mystery of love is one of sufjans best songs and visions of Gideon hits you right in the gut.
The doveman remix of futile devices is vastly inferior to the original but since the original is so good its impossible to mess up
Highlights:
Mystery of Love
Visions of Gideon
343
He really just never made a bad album.
To be alone with you is breathtaking. Once again a song from a Sufjan album that made me cry. A lot of the time it's Sufjans shortest songs that carry the most weight. It's really amazing that he can pack so much emotion into just 2 minutes.
Sister is kind of just a shorter version of djohariah if you really think about it
Highlights:
To be alone with you
To be alone with you
To be alone with you
342
Hey look at me I'm so niche. This is the type of music I would make if I was able to.
Quedronol is like lofi quadeca in such an incredible way. He has almost perfected the genre of folktronica which is probably just my favourite genre
This album is kinda insane actually. I love the incredible blend of soft lofi folky rock and the intense blasts of synth that bruise your ears
!!! Sudbury is so peak it makes me want to pull my hair out. Literally a 20/10 song. Choking crying throwing up listening to sudbury what a song omg
Highlights:
Walden
Fawn
Contortion dream
Sudden death
Cross my fingers
Sudbury (the pasture song)
Forever and ever
