This is one of the best folk rock albums of the 2010s for me. Pretty much every song on this is good, most are great.
9 years... give us another please. This is an incredible project with no skips. Should be a must listen for Blues Rock.
5 pity points for making me laugh. This might be one of the most albums ever made and its glorious in its awfulness.
Great album cover but the music is just okay. Divisions is probably my favorite here.
Weird album knowing their past work. I respect the fuck outta this group but this project is whatever at best.
If this is better I don't wanna hear Ezra. Seriously though, its average adult alternative. Okay enough wine mom music. Good is the good song.
Iris is one of the best songs of the 90s but the album itself is painfully mid. Also not a fan of the album title...
Its nice. I don't see why anyone would come back to this but its a nice enough listen to have once.
Regression is a killer. This hasn't aged well for me and I think its unfortunate because had I reviewed this when I first rated it I wouldn't be here lowering the value. Its unspecial and same-y metalcore from a band way past their best work. Im glad if you like it but it isn't for me.
Edit: 64 -> 58
My least favorite of their early albums. I think Crystal Baller is the best here but its not a high peak.
Its grown a bit on me and even though its not as good as their early work this isn't a "sell out album" grow up dude.
Edit: 67 -> 70
Some really high points and a few points it gets annoying. Human Cannonball is a great slowburn into a great song. Sweat Loaf and 22 Going on 23 are also great.
Pretty instruments and great vocals typically gets you solid dream pop. I wouldn't say its too gazey but whatever. I've had Pretty Police and Violet in my rotation for a few years now and I can't see myself ever removing them from my playlists.
