This has not aged well for me at all. I don't care much for this brand of metal even though I can blast Slipknot just fine when working out. It reminds me of those grimey dudes from high school.
Edit: 74 -> 58
I think this has grown a bit on me because of how much I ADORE It's Immaterial because you can hear where want to go with their sound but it just isn't quite there yet.
Edit: 76 -> 78
Listened to this twice on a 6 hour bus ride yesterday and all i know is that Z4l and KOVERT are stuck in my head. I don't really understand why there is this massive of a drop off in rating for this one because while I as of rn do prefer blkswn this is still a great project. I can see this growing a lot ngl.
It's okay. Nothing special here but I like Gengar and the album art is fine.
Meh I can't decide how I fully feel about this. I was like 11-12 when I first heard this and liked it a lot then. Looking back its so obviously not good but how not good is it really? Yonkers has remained as one of his most beloved songs (I'm whatever with it) and She is okay. I think the fact that I never come back to anything here is a good reason to say its aged poorly but would I say that if he didn't go on to have the second half of his career? IDK!!!!
Meh, its not as bad as I remembered but their next album is so much better.
I like Come Over and Nokia a lot. Its a comfy little EP that even though its kinda mid its charming as fuck to me.
Edit: 60 -> 65
Grown a lot I twas trippin fr. Still not my favorite TAC album but its better than I gave it credit for.
Edit: 60 -> 72
It has grown a bit but I can't listen to Love it If We Made It. Love can suck ass sometimes. :/
Edit: 68 -> 70
Okay, I think its time to finally review this. At the time, this was the album I was most excited to listen to of all of 2022. It blew away every expectation that I had and more. One thing that I love about music is that even songs that have an intended emotion can be warped and molded to fit things in life you experience while listening to it. This has happened to a few of these songs. Snow Globes and Bread Song specifically act as a cheap therapy session for me in ways music website ... read more
Pure highschool nostalgia. This feels like summer at the public pool or one of the rivers with my friends blasting our shared playlist because only one of us could afford a subscription. Miss those guys
Not as good as Soulless Hymns but still pretty solid.
One of my favorite deathcore albums. The album art is hideous though.
Very pretty and emotion packed song. Outstanding work here.
All I Think About Now is such a great song that I can overlook how average the rest is.
